Have been doing 30DS every other day - pain in my stomach is unreal, due to do it today but struggling. I know it's a no pain pain no gain theory but I need to be able to move!! Feeling sore and annoyed :(

Lol!!! It tracks all my steps - just finding I forget to keep my phone with me all the time if I'm wearing something without pockets so looking at getting a flex now :)

Thanks for all the replies :) I think I have my settings sorted now. My next question is when I set up MFP I included 2x 45 minute MMA class, do I add this manually as my FitBit is tracked on my phone which I won't have in training with me. Thanks again

I'm a bit confused with the FitBit actually!! I realise I'm probably missing something really obvious here but how do I get FitBit and MFP to give me the same calorie goal, and since I've stopped eating and sat down for a bit it now says I'm 87 calories over when I was 37 calories over (it says I've had 1330 calories…

Ok I'm even more confused now!!! I haven't eaten anything else but I'm now more over my calories?!? Also FitBit has a goal of 1200 for me and MFP has 1430 - how do I change the FitBit to make it the same as MFP?

The calculator asked my activity level and how many exercise sessions per week - I answered as it asked. Also I'm asking advice to make sure I am doing it properly. I have just downloaded FitBit so I will stick with that for now, save anymore silly answers to my questions!!

I just installed the FitBit app on my iPhone yesterday, it uses the motion sensors in my 5s so no extra gadgets needed. Which calorie goal do people use as MFP and FitBit differ by a few 100 calories - any help appreciated :)

Sorry to jump in your post!! So I'm using TDEE, just to check - I don't log any exercise into MFP, the TDEE calculator set me 1501 calories per day (I'm 5ft 1 and 160lbs). Also how important are macros? I struggle most days to get 40% protein and that's using protein shakes. Any help appreciated :)

I do a woman's only Mixed Martial Arts class, I love it and would recommend everyone to give it a try! I'm in UK so can't really help with finding a good class etc but the training will definitely help you looses weight and build/tone muscle :)

This post is old but found it through google, my nearly 11 year old son is a bit overweight and has a never ending appetite - was thinking maybe a protein shake before dinner would help him to feel "full". He eAts a fairly well balanced diet but needs to cut back. Thanks

Bless, feel for your son, however i don't agree with all the people on here slamming you with eating disorders and bad parenting slams. I have 3 boys, all do kickboxing, if they choose to take this to a competitive level like your son has, then they have to take the rules and expectations with it, that's how life works.…

Hi! I bought the DVD a few months back and that's as far as I've got lol I really want to do it but am worried a bit as when I was pregnant with my middle son my stomach muscles separated and I don't want to cause more damage. I do mixed martial arts and this is helping, but does anyone else have experience of this?

So can you help me? Mfp tells me 20% protein and iifym tells me 45%, I don't know my body fat % but would guess it's quite high. I'm 160lb and 5ft 1. I do mixed martial arts twice For 45 mins twice a week and walk 1hour + per day. Thanks :)

I get really bad stomach cramps, trapped wind and frequent trips to the toilet if I have too much fat. Not as painful as the attacks from the gallstones but enough to make you roll around the floor :(. Have read a lot online and it all suggests a high protein low fat diet, I'm just not sure how high to take it

I failed :( but have picked a date and will try again, just have to stay away from my friends for a bit I think, everyone I socialise with smokes so I know I can get one if I want one. When I'm home on my own without any it doesn't bother me at all, it's the social side more than the actual cigs that I struggle with.

I have 3 boys - aged 4, 8 and 10 and I never intentionally ate any extra calories while I was pregnant. Best to stick to the healthy stuff, eat when hungry and listen to your body :) good luck and congratulations
