For me, Christmas/Boxing day means 5 NBA games, Ashes Cricket and two big football games. Its at times like this I'm glad I have an exercise bike right in front of a TV - target 100 miles in 24 hours!

I like lots of sports - football was my original favourite, and is always up there. I'm a Liverpool fan (not that hard to guess!); and thus I enjoy any bad results Man Utd have - so this season is going ok! My kids are both Arsenal fans, so I like them too (when they are not interfering with us winning stuff)

I just noticed the "plus little snacks here and there". Not sure how much that translates to, and maybe you could swap for something more filling? Out of interest, how high did you go at 1, 500, and how much exercise do you do?

I have similar ... I found that I was always trying to beat my target; even when I got to my target weight and it was time to stop losing weight, I still had to beat my target - so I was still losing weight with a maintenance target. Solution? I just upped my target to gain weight; so I "beat" target stay the same weight…

Looks great! One question - he has a Samsung phone, right? If those, this specific one wont really be much use. Go for a bluetooth one - so it works with any phone (or tablet or computer).
