Echoing what most people have said; find something you like. Another factor I found, especially if you are short of time, is to find things with zero overhead and minimal possible excuses. For me, that has translated to push-ups (you can always do a few push ups) and my stationary bike parked right in front of a TV; so no…

My favourite Frank Lampard goal ever. That, and Leicester caning Man Utd made it a great weekend, despite our loss!

I get the OPs thinking - and its a great challenge. However its not necessary to cut out everything you love unless you are planning to win competitions. With keeping to your macros, and a sustainable/enjoyable exercise program, you can get 95% of the way there. The price for the last 5% is a bit too high!

Part of it is its quite hard to get mentally excited by "standing still" as compared to seeing weight come off. I also think its really hard to keep track of what you eat if you stop counting. The odd beer here, muffin there and a few ice creams creep up on you over time. I just set different, non-weight targets (mostly…

I tracked sugar. Not sure whether it was a coincidence or not; but at the same it I lost a lot of weight and fat. My understanding is if you go over on sugar, but stay under on carbs you'll be ok; but that's harder to do (cos you'll be hungry more often)

Useful info above - I bought a bike three months ago, so fairly new too . If you're riding on the road, you need a helmet. Also, if you're not a steady rider, try starting when there are barely any cars on the road - I found it very unnerving to have cars flashing by; took a while to get used to it. That puncture advice is…
