I think I said my stomach stretches less

Prednisone made me want to eat loads. I put on loads of weight for the year that I was on that. Now I have lost the weight I can't eat as much as a used to so I think a stomach can get less stretched

I would agree but we were doing a lot of cooking ourselves while camping. But I guess it could be possible.

Thanks Everyone. Interesting that you want to get to mid 70s. I wish I could but I am at a bit of a plateau at the mo. Currently at 84 kg I am at a BMI of 25.2 (so technically overweight) but I am ~ 15% body fat. Just goes to show BMI isn't everything

I remember week 6 being the tough one. Try running on a softer surface and running a bit slower. Running on grass rather than on tarmac. Outside is better than inside as there is no way to get off when you are 15 minutes away from home so you may as well run.

Started when I was 43 and now I have just turned 45 and I have dropped 25 kg but more importantly, I have:- (1) stopped snoring (2) stopped suffering from sleep apnea (3) stopped having GORD (4) stopped being out of breath when climbing stairs (5) stopped sitting of the couch as much (6) stopped eating as much fast food (…

All you need to do is log accurately and eat back your or most of you exercise calories. If the 1220 cal target is too tough then ease off and aim for a slightly higher target. I started at a target of 2000 and then went down to 1500 as the weight came off. I find protein keeps me full for longer on the morning than…

Hi from Pembrokeshire ! Feel free to add me. I am very close to my target weight so will be starting maintenance soon
-
1670 a day (targeting a 0.5 kg/week weight loss) I exercise and eat most of that back
-
:) love that. I am BMI 25.2 but BF ~15% so getting to mid range BMI seems too low to be sensible for me. Also most of the health benefit is from not being BMI 30+

old people who struggle to eat enough are given cheese and bisuits (with butter) and fortified milk ( take whole fat milk and add extra dried milk to it ( 1 table spoon per pint). This is done on medical advice. So get medical advice. please

The idea that the body needs a cleanse implies a belief that the body is dirty. It isn't. It just isn't the mix of fat muscle and none that you want.

I have noticed the same re Chinese but did not put 2 and 2 together until just now

Relax about your weight loss. Be accurate with weighing ALL foods. Be accurate about exercise calories.(I use a heart rate monitor). If you eat at a small deficit then fat will melt away revealing muscle. I find I needed to increase fibre to help things move along. I still don't eat enough but it still helps "transit"

56ib in 14 months!! Slow and steady. See my pic for graph of loss. The odd hiccup like Christmas and hols :)

I don't get eating clean. I eat more veg, fruit etc rather than "dirty" (i.e. mcdonalds, crisps etc) as it keeps me fuller. but eating at a calorie deficity is eating at a calorie deficit. So far ( 14 months in and 50 lb down) I have lost ~ 2/3 due to diet restriction and 1/3 due to energy expended due to exercise. I…

I lost 16 lb before I started exercising. so yes you can. I started to exercise to make it easier to maintain a deficit.

Don't eat Quorn while weight training. Eat Quorn sometime before or after :)

Eat more and log accurately as excessively fast weight loss losses your muscles mass.
