sw: 203 cw: 198 gw: 183 exercise goal: anything... yikes I need to do this! Still not good on exercising, and the weight loss is slowing down some so i know I need to change it up. All is good though. Thanks to all for helping me keep my head in the right place!

Yeah for you. Rest and heal, and take good care of yourself!

Thanks to all of you for words of encouragement!

Ha, I actually did just finish a protein shake, even though my brother in law had a bottle of red wine open!

Yeah!!!

To be sure, check with your doctor. But I know I couldn't have any ibuprofen or aleve etc. So first I had liquid Tylenol (could only find kids and it was really sweet) but have since graduated to Tylenol capsules. Not sure what you're up to swallowing and digesting yet. Feel better soon!

Excellent... you keep paving the way for my expectations as I'm about two months behind you on my journey! Celebrate you.

Similar to the other posts here, when starting soft foods I was at about 600-700. Now, 3 months post bypass I'm about 1000. Slow, steady, chew chew chew!!!

Lighter on the scale and light shining from your happy face, excellent!

OK, the wedding was on Friday, and I had some fun on Monday. Back when I posted this I ended up buying a dress size 20 that was a bit snug, but not a really fitted style, and it had a belt so I thought I would just tighten it up, I continued with my wt loss and all the wedding planning. The dress still worked, but the…

Sorry to hear this, but its how I've been learning too. It is so counter-intuitive that a sip of water doesn't help... but it just packs it tighter. Sometimes stretching my arm up over my head and walking around helps to unlodge something that gets stuck. Sometimes nothing helps but for the offender to come up and out. For…

I was allowed to get my coffee back (not much though) after one month. Whew!

Perfect timing to discuss this, my son's wedding is this Friday! Actually, I've tried wine already, and just need to go slow with not too much. Slainte.

Ditto on the donate. I took a lot in to Clothes Mentor but they wouldn't buy any of it. Even though they had the same brands in the store. Hardly worth the headache. Getting ready to get rid of a bunch more soon. The space in the closet feels as good as the extra space in the jeans!

I just got some long extra control camisole tops from Costco, I actually fit in the XL size. They help hold in my shrinking but saggy middle. My belly has always been more trouble than my hips/butt. The all in one types don't work for me because I am 5'11" and they're not built for a long trunk. I like the feel of the…

Dr. Seuss takes the road less travelled to Narnia. At one point I thought that would be a great thesis topic!

Also a yummy way to get in protein is unflavored Unjury added to sugar free instant jello pudding. Cant do the cooked kind because it doesn't work with the protein. Pistachio or cheesecake flavor!

New week, new start. Sending you good thoughts of peacefulness, rest, and healing.

I got the kids version of liquid Tylenol at CVS pharmacy here. Its a nasty "bubblegum" flavor, but it worked!

What an inspiration... and many years of continuing success!

Yup, I had my nails "go naked" and still have them off so that they can do the pulse oximeter checks at my follow up appointments. I am going to have them done again in a few weeks before my sons wedding! (I'm 2 months post op), Small concession to current vanity for a longer term big win! Fun to have you post about this…

I am 5'10.5" with a goal wt of 164. Started at 272 and now at 214. Anything below 200 will be less than anytime that I've been an adult so I will be happy! I carry it all around my middle, my legs are already much thinner.

Now off of meds for BP, cholesterol, triglicerides, and for my diabetes down from 4 meds to half of one of them. Woo Hoo!

Thanks for sharing your success. I'm two months out and going in the right direction. I find I'm looking people in the eye more than I used to.

The high protein in the liquid diet gets your body well prepared for tissue healing post surgery too.
