I finished Week 1 today, It was cool to see progress just between the workouts within the week. I'm going to rest tomorrow and start Week 2 on Sunday.

This is really helpful. Thank You!

Thanks guys. I was feeling pretty good this morning so I went ahead with Week 1 Day 3 of the basic program. It was a challenge but I felt a lot better than I did on Day 1 which was really encouraging. We'll see how I feel tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks Guys, That is helpful info. I did the test last night in my home. It took me forever to fall asleep with everything hooked up to me so I'm hoping it recorded enough info to give the Docs enough data.

Congrats and thanks for sharing! I have lost about 5 pounds, I started at 236 and working to get down to 198. Its a slow process but its so nice to see its doable!

I'm certainly not a cycling expert but I wanted to put in a plug for visiting a local bike shop. I was shopping around for a bike, looking on craigslist, reading a lot online, and talking to some coworkers who are avid cyclists. One coworker in particular really sold me on a new bike rather than used. His point was if you…

Hi all! I'm 33 and looking to lose about 36 pounds. I've been using MFP for about a week and so far its been a great tool for me. Feel free to add me!
-
Ok thanks, Can it keep track of the total intervals you do then? Or is there a way I can keep track of the total time exercised along with using the interval function?

I sprained my ankle last night starting Week2 Day 1 (modified). I'm hoping its not too bad so it doesn't slow me down too much. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Thats awesome! I'm working to lose about 36 right now and then I'll reassess. I hadn't thought of doing pictures, but its a good idea to see where I am in the months go come.

Hello! Feel free to add me as well. I"m a 33 year old guy working to consciously make decisions about the foods I choose. So far I'm finding MFP to be a great tool to see where my calories come from and what actually fuels my body. I think you'll find having a community of people working towards similar goals is really…

Hi I've been looking for other guys on here, I'm pretty new but I'm enjoying using mfp. I'm trying to lose about 38 pounds to start with and then go from there. I'm currently at 234 and want to get down to 198. I'm also a former Chicagoan. I lived there for 8 years but now we're in the Seattle area. I'll send you a friend…

Sorry for your loss, but honoring your father with life and health is awesome. Feel free to add me, I'm working on losing about 38 pounds right now and then I'm going to go from there. I was at 234 at my last weigh in and my goal weight is 198 for now. Feel free to add me if you want another buddy!

I've been thinking of trying some smoothies, I have never done it before. I have 2 questions though. 1.) Can you make them the night before? Do the refrigerate well? Or do you really need to make them right before you consume. 2.) I hate bananas! Hate them! Any recipes that use bananas, that really hide the flavor? Thanks!

I'm in Edmonds, but spend enough time on the other side of the water that I might as well be from over there. :)

Hi I just added you, I'm working on C25K for the 2nd time and hope to have the same success I had before. This time though, I'm watching what I eat as well. Good Luck!

Hello, I am in a similar boat. I had lost a bunch of weight, was exercising quite regularly, then I was injured. I never got back on the horse, and slipped and slipped and slipped. After my most recent physical I diecided to really focus on my diet as well as exercise. Feel free to add me as well!
