Ehhhhh, no. You gain weight by consuming excess calories. When you eat them isn't important. In fact, many people here do IF, where they consume all of their calories in a small window of time and fast for the rest and they have no problem losing/maintaining weight.

If you're in a deficit I highly double you've gained any muscle at all, sorry. So your options are either water retention, or you've been eating too many calories/over estimating calorie burn/not logging properly. Can you open your diary? That may help figure out the problem.

That is a legit study that's been repeated multiple times and is true though. Parents just perceive their children to be hyperactive when they were told they ingested sugar, regardless of if they actually had or not. But I get your point.

I'm celiac and I care. There may be more food options, but people also dismiss the severity of celiac and assume cross contamination isn't an issue because they know 'gluten free' people who can have 'just a bite' or don't have to worry about sharing a toaster. I'd rather there were less food options but people took it…

Please direct me to evidence that limiting carbs is some peoples ONLY way of losing weight because a calorie deficit doesn't work for them.

Disagree with part one or two? It's definitely easier to take a dress in than make it bigger, but I agree that it could be very time consuming and costly if the dress isn't a simple design. I'd try to hold off as long as you can.
