Well yeah, if you're going to get vitamins of course it's better to get them direct from the source. Vitamin pills are only SUPPOSED to be used when you fail to reach the recommended amount through your diet. I read labels, but only for the words WHEAT, OAT, GLUTEN, MILK, or LACTOSE. I really don't care what else is in there. Also I can pronounce scientific words with relative ease, so pronunciation isn't the best test for me...

A HRM won't be that accurate with HIIT, they're designed for steady state cardio only. There will always be a lag in readings when it comes to your HR, due to it rising and falling rapidly. And if you can do an hour of zumba after a HIIT workout, you're probably not working hard enough in all honestly.

A calorie deficit is basically what you create to lose weight, by consuming fewer calories than your body needs, therefore causing it to turn to fat stores for energy. MFP has already calculated your deficit and included it in your calorie goal.

You answered your own question in the title. You haven't gained fat after one day. You've retained water. You don't have to change anything or be 'extra good' this weekend, just do as you usually would. The water you've retained should go away in a day or so, so don't stress.

If exercise is the only cause of your weight loss, then you'd be eating at maintenance and your deficit is only being created by calories burned through exercise.

So modern man CAN survive on a vegan diet, with suppliments/planning/access to certain foods. But historically, humans weren't made to survive off a vegan diet. If they were, there wouldn't be the B12 issue.

Unless otherwise stated, I go by the way it is in the packet. So, frozen chicken, frozen veges, dry pasta, etc.

Your weight and measurements can go up when you retain water or it's close to that TOM, which is probably the case here. Don't worry it shouldn't stick around for long. However it should be noted that your BF% probably isn't correct. Assuming you're using scales of some sort to measure it and not callipers, any fluctuation…
