Easy to do. A pint = 2 glasses 1 pint before I go for a run in the morning Another pint when I get back, to have with my breakfast A pint of water in work in the morning A pint in the afternoon A pint when I get back home with my dinner That makes 10 glasses...where's the problem?

about 8 degrees C here in the UK, what's that, 47 F? Tropics for me too! But grateful I'm not in a polar vortex.
-
Exercise more then next day, giving that room to move calories-wise...
-
Training for marathons and then ultras...but then I am a little more insane than you lot
-
These are giving my belly ache, owww...
-
Each morning after I get up at 5:30am, without getting hung up on gaining a few pounds one day.

Eat more of what you listed to get the calories. While I net around 700 calories a day, I exercise 900 calories off a day and eat about 1600. You will lose the weight, just don't be so aggressive unless you have a proven plan.

You may not want to but get rid!!! If that's all he sees in you then you can do WAY better. Just because my wife doesn't go to the gym doesn't mean I deride her for not having nutcracker legs...that's up to her and I respect it. I choose my own path, as should you!!!

Only 422 miles in 2013...but in my defence I spent a lot of time weight training for leg strength so I could run more without pain. As I'm training for a marathon in May, I should rip that to pieces after 5 months...
-
Only thing that matters is calories if you are trying to lose weight. Weight training for three times a week will help to help your strength up.
-
I do a full marathon in May and I have doubts sometimes but I remember that I'm doing this for me. I'm accountable for me and I'm doing something about it. That's the hardest step. 15 min/mile isn't shabby so don't let it get you down. Don't forget that as you lose weight you times will naturally go down due to carrying…

Shed 12lbs over the next three months to increase pace for Liverpool Marathon in May, which I'm gunning for a 3hr 45min time.

Only one rule you should follow to lose weight. Calories out is greater than calories in. Period.
-
I too have children, two of them, 2 and 6. They are two reasons why I push myself so hard.

From near Liverpool, feel free to add.

201 lbs in a year??? For real??? THIS and also the Incredible Shrinking Man are two of the greatest success stories there are. You are a TRUE inspiration (as much as that word gets over-used here). I'm proud with losing 45 lbs. Hell, you've lost a ME!!!
-
I actually lost weight as I had a bad cold over Xmas. Not complaining though, and am now 4 lbs down now from Dec 23rd.

Single reason why the weather stops what most of us like doing and that is exercise when it gets tough outside. There's really no excuses for it.

- Not trying to do too much too quick; - Building a plan and sticking with it; - Monitoring calories without being anal about it. Rewards are required for you to continue cutting weight; - Goals. Always set high goals for long-term and low goals for short-term, use them as a road-map In terms of yourself, what are your…

Depends. If I go all-out then maybe 6:30. My training runs on speed days take me around 3 miles in 21 minutes which is about 7:00/mile. If I had a mangy dog after me, maybe 3:00 min mile

TLDR;

No and in actual fact, it will probably help for several reasons such as extra 'guilt' workout the next day, system satiety etc.

Obsession is only measured against something. Am I obsessive against Usain Bolt or Mo Farah? Hardly. What about my 38-stone brother in law? Well, maybe. If something makes you happy, then keep doing it. There will ALWAYS be people trying to pull you down because they can't/won't do it themselves. My wife goes on about how…

Squats on my toes; Seating calf raise; Leg press on toes; Box jumps on toes; I can go on...

Hmmm. Never seen a body-builder run a marathon, nor a distance runners squat twice his bodyweight. Anyhow. If he's been a boxer, do you not think he might be HAPPY with how he is? Size isn't everything. I have thin arms and no shoulders but can press and lift more than most. You need to consider what he wants, not what you…

My bonus is being able to swap road running for hill running on moorland where I grew up...going back to my old town for a few days. 20+ miles of hill running awaits. As good a Xmas bonus as I would like...
-
THIS i like, wish we had some snow here. Me? I just have to settle for 7 miles of hill-running...
-
We all start somewhere. Been there, done it and now ten minutes faster over three miles. Keep going!

Being told by my mother-in-law that I was fat. THAT was the moment...
