Yes combat is amazing and fun!...and you do sweat a LOT! :D the trainers are AWESOME!! !

No, I started my allowed meal plan which was between 1500-1700 calories instead. That first option is to help you kick start the program, but 1200 calories is doable if you pick the right foods (filling ones). When I did the 21 day fix my calorie range was 1200 for 3 weeks and I was scared too but I did, I ate 6 small…

First congratulations in your upcoming wedding :) , second Les Mills Combat is great!!! You are going to love it! I did one round 6-7 months ago and I started a hybrid (combat/pump this past Monday) which is really intense but so far I'm loving it. Yes the last few pounds are the hardest to lose since you are closer to…

Combat is awesome, I really recommend that one I LOVE IT!!, though today is the last day they have the challenge packs on sale...anyway I'm starting today my hybrid with Combat instead of pump since I'm getting my barbell delivered tomorrow :D I'm really excited and looking forward to a good sweat this evening (I work out…

1200 calories is the minimum a person should eat, less than that will put your body in starvation mode. There's also a lot of other factors to add when it comes to lose weight...not just counting calories. Based on what you wrote you weren't exercising much but you were eating 1200 calories a day, Based on your stat and…

21 Day fix is a new beachbody program that came one feb 3rd. Is 3 weeks of intense workout complemented with proper nutrition ( portion control eating). For people like me whose struggle with portion control is a hit since the program comes with colored code containers that makes your life easier. Each container represent…

Oh yes I used to struggled a lot with soda but I just decided not to buy it..if is not in my house I won't drink it :), fast food I was never a fan (though I could eat a five guys burger any time lol)...I just try to cook all my meals at home and prep food for next day so I don't have to buy anything while working. I did…

I recently became one of the "ohhhh so evil coaches", and true not every one of us is there for the money, we really enjoy their products (being a customer for 2 yrs), and I want to help other people achieve their goals, I had learned a lot about exercising and proper nutrition and I'm even going to try to get certified…

hmmm try eating small meals during the day (3 main meals, 3 snacks)....you should be eating every 2-3 hrs anyway. Is not recommended to eat at night because even when awake your body is in a "rest state"...and normally we are not really hungry at night we are bored, drink water instead or a glass of milk :) once the baby…

Yes, I was one of the lucky ones to order the first day it came out so I got it right away. I finished my first round and I loved it!! Specially the portion control part. I'm also a firm believer of beachbody products since they had work for me...but like anything you need to commit and follow the program and a healthy…

Weight fluctuates during the day and daily. This is an excerpt from fitday.com "Why Weight Fluctuations Happen Weight fluctuations are normal, and they happen to everybody. They can be caused by many different factors, such as consumption of a big meal, excess salt intake, water retention, constipation and hormonal…

You know it takes courage for a person to take the step into a healthier you! I congratulate you for that. In order to be successful in this journey you have to commit to yourself to do it. I know you are motivated by your family and wanting to be there for them but the real commitment comes from YOU wanting to do it :).…

It kind of looks like the ROC race (Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge) that I'm doing in DC this summer :)...should be fun, best of luck!!!!

Stretch and drink plenty of water :) also when you warm up the soreness tend to go away, so might be hard at the beginning but once you warm up you are going to be able to keep going! It takes a few days for the muscles to "get use to" if you stop, next time you re-start is going to hurt the same.

I did T25 Alpha only, I enjoyed it but is really tough, you are doing a whole workout in 25 mins so no breaks. That's why I always recommend my friends and customers (yes I'm a beachbody coach) that instead of going with the flow and the hype of a new product, to see what they like, because that's the important part in…

I did, that was my first beach body program and It helped me lose 12 lbs :) (I'm a 5'5" woman). the program is tough but if there's something you can't do you can always modify. As for which version to do it depends on what your goals are. P90X actually have three programs not two (Lean, Classic and Doubles). Lean program…

You know the key to a healthier you is to eat everything in moderation (portion control), limiting yourself of the things you like for the sake of a diet is not going to help and most likely you will fall on the old habits. I never call it a diet more like better eating habits in where you can have your cheat meals and…

Eating better does 80% of the work, the other 20% comes from working out. I congratulate you for the weight you had lost in the past month! and I think you had done the right thing of keep track of your calorie intake, NEVER do less than 1200 calories thats not good and will put your body in starvation mode. The reason why…

I don't have washboard abs but I started seeing definition when I was doing Les Mills Combat, so yes they do work and you learn to love the pain LOL :)
-
I'm the same way as you and it's been a long battle but I'm getting there...no I don't have washboard abs but the pooch is going down every day. What I did was to modify my eating habits. Eating clean, healthier and using portion control....6 small meals a day (3 main meals and 3 snacks). Abs are made in the kitchen that's…

There so many good at home programs out there that can definitely help...they are not magical you have to do the work and also is a matter of exercising and eating healthy. But in order to know which one is the best option for you, instead of throwing names out there, I would like to know what kind of exercise you like to…
