You're expecting him to cater to your wishes, and you're not willing to meet his. You cannot expect to change his behavior, so change your own. Use him being there as motivation to go harder, run faster, and give him some info that doesn't demoralize you.

I've had good ones and bad ones. If your chiropractor doesn't feel it necessary to take x-rays to see what the problem is, he's probably not going to do you any good.

Sharknado. Best movie ever!

I love ice cream more than all of the things. All of them.

I'm sorry that you're getting frustrated and feel like no one is understanding. Generally, when someone comes here looking for advice as to why they're not losing, it frequently is an issue of consuming more calories than they think. If you are sure that you're measuring everything and correctly logging, then I recommend…

Nope, accepting the drink is an unspoken acceptance of further communications.

I can never give up dessert. I either work it in to my calories for the day, or try to work it off the next.

Agreed, except I also scare large children when I don't wear any makeup.
-
I've never done it. I'd be too self-conscious, even though I rationally know that no one would pay me any mind.

I'm so happy to see that I'm not alone! I'm a slow runner, 12 m.m. is great for me, but I'm usually around 13. I hate talking about running because I always feel like since I'm not doing 8, 9, or 10 minute miles, that I'm not a "real" runner. It's nice to see others posting their "slow" mile times!

All. The. Food. And just when the painfully full feeling starts to wane, I shall have more pie.

If you hate running, but love walking, then walk. Yes, with running you can get your heart rate higher in less time, but walking fast (like you do) is also a great calorie burn. You're also much more likely to stick with something you enjoy.

I recommend changing your whole routine. Where you study, the order in which you accomplish tasks, etc. Like trying to break any habit, if you can remove yourself as much as possible from the routine of your habit, you may find it easier to tackle. Good luck!

What are your calories set for? And how over do you go? If you have cravings for certain things, don't keep them in the house. Getting started is hard. Sometimes, you just have to stop eating and get your workouts in by sheer force of will. And eventually, it becomes a habit. Everyone is busy, everyone is tired. But make…

I wish when I was 21, someone had told me what I'm about to tell you. Don't stay with him if you don't love him. You are so young, and you have so much potential for happiness and deep, true love. Please believe me, if you stay, when you're older, you will wish that you could get those years back. I know it's hard to walk…

I'm just waiting for Dr. Oz to bottle sunshine and plug it on his show.

I have PCOS, and just about all the negative side effects from it. I lift heavy. It has NOT made me bulky. It's had the opposite effect; things are tighter and look thinner. Don't be afraid. Lift all the weights!

I keep telling my boss that I'm too pretty to work. He keeps laughing while handing me stacks of spreadsheets....

Well, first, try to get a confirmation from you doc. Losing weight is harder with PCOS. It just is. But if you stay dedicated, and absolutely stop comparing yourself to others, you can do it. The majority of us PCOS gals have a much higher rate of success by eliminating processed carbs from your diet (white flour, white…

Swimming or shadow boxing.

The food is harder for me. To stick with an exercise program, try making a schedule at the beginning of each week dictating what exercise and duration, etc. that you'll do that week. Then just do it. Think of it like any other of the millon responsibilities you have in a week. After a little while, you'll find that the…

Happy birthday! Not only do I eat my birthday cake, but I eat everyone else's cake too.

PCOS is not fun when trying to lose weight. I was diagnosed young, and have struggled most of my life. Unfortunately, I have just about every symptom. The medication (I'm assuming your doc is referring to Metformin or something similar) helps some people. It didn't do anything for me, so I stopped taking it. The weight…

Cats smell awful and leave hair everywhere. Your roommates win. Everyone who says that cat litter has improved is someone that lives with the stench day in and out and therefore doesn't notice it. It still stinks.

Marmite and vegemite. They made my mouth so sad.

Buffy & Firefly. Always.

I lift heavy twice a week, and run three days a week. Figure out which combo works best for you to get the results you want.
