This... This is exactly what I do except I use red wine vinegar instead of balsamic. I also sometimes either add chopped green olives or capers if I have them to use up. Different take on tuna but delish to this usual mayo lover! LOL

I don't have a bag... my gym is one of those no frills ones, no locker room or showers. Which is fine since I just go and then go back home to shower. I carry everything I need; water bottle, towel, iPod and earbuds.

Hi Karen, Welcome! :flowerforyou: I have been on and off MFP for the last couple of years and besides the logging being extremely helpful, everyone on this site is super supportive and friendly. And also full of information. Feel free to add me.. always looking for new buddies on this quest! Invitation is extended to…

While I don't see myself doing this personally, I think the intention that the OP had was to get people who can't get out, get to a gym, etc. to think about everyday chores as a chance to exercise more. Kudos to that I say!

Can I join too? Just turned 40 in November....
-
Same here... although I think it depends on the individual child and their maturity level.
-
THIS!! Totally..... LOL

Bumping this for the responses... was about to post the same thing. I do go to the gym and mix up treadmill and the bike but sometimes I just don't feel like going there. I thought I would stay more motivated if I could do something at home on the days the weather was crappy or whatever. My cable company does have some…

Dating stinks, doesn't it? I feel for ya.... trying to figure out the other person can be exhausting! It could just be that his schedule didn't have enough time as he thought or he could have had second thoughts. Either way, I agree with the other poster, I would let him initiate any further contact and see what happens.…

Yup... exactly.

Bump... I'm not currently on Pred but was. Is weight gain a side effect?
-
Well that's helpful..not! Not cool....

I have TOTALLY thought how feasible this could be!!! LOL No joke, my friend who happens to have an enormous closet just moved the tree ornaments and all, into it and threw a sheet over it. How I wish I could do that!!!
-
I still have my tree up thanks to my son, LOL. If it were up to him, it would stay up all year but it's coming down TODAY, finally!
-
Exactly this... same thing. Stopped the gym, stopped managing my eating, too much wine, personal dramas... and in denial about it all until I got to the point where I was literally disgusted. And not a single pair of pants fit me any longer.

Dinner out with a friend... blew it on hanger steak, fries and red wine! It was awesome! Back at it today!

I would add not to focus solely on the number on the scale. If your clothes are getting loose, it would seem that you are going in the right direction. I've been at it for 15 days now and just in the last day or two the scale is starting to move. I've read other posts that it takes a little bit for your body to adapt once…

I agree with the poster that advised that as long as it fits into your calories and macros, there's nothing wrong with it. If you're interested in other snacks maybe try something whole grain to add nutrition and fiber? Or maybe fruit or veggies? When I get the munchies after dinner, I'll snack on either some baby carrots…

It's typically sometimes, from what I see on here, for your body and muscles to retain water to adjust when beginning to change diet and exercise habits. I just started back up and on day 11 and just starting to see the scale move. Plus I think it's a lot of trial and error to get the combo of diet and exercise that works…
