I don't sing in the shower... but I do sing in the car, to whatever is playing on my iPod What's your guilty pleasure?

Basically what the other posters suggested... - filtered or bottled water - squeeze/slice of citrus - Crystal Lite (I only use half of what they say since I find full strength flavor way too strong) In the winter, I do hot water with a slice of lemon and a slice of raw ginger... yummy! But mostly, I drink flavored seltzer.

It was BAD!! Not bad maybe for someone else but bad enough for me. Reminded me of that show on cable, Scared Straight. That's what I got a dose of!

I have yet another reason... made the mistake of taking a somewhat naked pic to track progress. Uggghhh!! Going to the gym RIGHT NOW!! If you need motivation, I suggest giving this a try....

Bump... HAVE to try this!

^^^ THIS ^^^ Love me some roasted veggies... also good roasted is butternut and acorn squash and believe it or not, cabbage! Also, have you tried mashed cauliflower? It comes out very similar to mashed potatoes. I usually just wing it making mine but there are a ton of recipes online.

Julianne Moore or Stockard Channing (when I had darker hair). I don't see a resemblance to either, personally.
-
Bumping... for new recipes... I buy these all the time. The only thing I really do with them is bake them with seasoning or throw them in the crockpot with a jar of either salsa verde or regular salsa and black beans for a shredded chicken type thing.

Retro Fitness member here. It's cheap and provides everything I'm looking for. I'd love to be able to work out and have all that gear at home though. But... no room and no budget currently, LOL!

Never understood the egg white only craze, personally. I get it's lower in fat but it's leaving out the nutrition of the egg! And I'm a soft boiled/over easy/hard boiled egg freak so I always use the whole egg!

As the other posters suggested, chicken breast is always on the list. I also will get lean boneless pork chops for a dinner protein as well. When I'm in the mood, I'll get some seafood as well. As far as staples, here are the things I'll buy routinely. - raisin bran - greek yogurt - salad greens / baby arugula / baby…

Again, let me reiterate... I have absolutely NO intention of following this as I said in my original post. I already know it's completely unrealistic, for me anyway. I already am trying to incorporate more veggies and protein in my diet and yes, cutting back on carbs (not eliminating them) because that's what works for me…

I'm boring... lunches are one of a few options. -turkey or roast beef wrap or pita with reduced fat cheese and reduced fat mayo, sriracha, arugula, red onion -soup (usually the healthy Progresso's although I'm making an effort to make my own) -salad greens, whatever veggies are around, leftover chicken (or whatever other…

I will keep a few on hand for when I have literally nothing else. But I'm not usually a fan of them for a few reasons. Not happy about the amount of preservatives, added sugars, etc. Most of the brands are usually extremely carb heavy and lacking any good amount of protein which means I'll be bloated and hungry in 2 hrs.…

My friend just quit using this book and gave me her copy. Been reading and plans to quit (for good this time) are underway. WE CAN DO IT!!

I'm dying.. LOL

Low glycemic veggies and brown rice. I definitely cannot live on that, not for 2 weeks never mind forever.

Was just looking for opinions mostly. I was just surprised at this recommendation. I have no plans to even try it as I know it is completely unrealistic for my life and what my personal plan is. I do spend time working out every day and DVR his show just to watch some of the other advice he has. Just wanted to see what…

Same boat... 5'2" and currently hovering around 140-143. GW is 120-125.

Two things, really.. 1. NOTHING in my closet fits anymore and I don't have the budget to buy bigger clothes 2. Tired of feeling chubby, no energy, getting sick all the time... HAVE to get back to being healthy again.
-
Agree with the other posters... all the recipes sound yummy! The crockpot is just so forgiving, you could literally throw just about anything in it, whatever is in your fridge and it turns out yummy! I do the "taco chicken" things... chicken breasts, diced tomatoes, onlons, etc.. that is yummy! I have Chicken Verde in…
-
My usual breakfasts... - toast w/ sliced avocado and drizzled with sriracha - toast with peanut butter - egg omellette with various fillings (this is mainly a weekend thing) - greek yogurt

Of course! There's no rule that says you have to log anything. But I do know that the support on here is fantastic and particularly helpful by cheering each other on based on posts and logs. But either way, love this place and think it's helpful no matter how you choose to use it. I log both food and exercise but not…
