I do that too, but I never count that. Main reason for me is regardless how long the shopping is, it doesn't raise my heart rate enough to be consider counting. Just eat your other exercise calories (including gardening, cause I found out, with HRM, it does raise my heart rate when I'm digging around, etc)

Well, don't count on someone else when it comes to your own health. Be responsible and take control of your own life. Your friend got her own life to deal with and it's her life. She have no obligation. So, I'll say don't give excuses for not making your life better just because your friend is not doing it with you. There…

Don't based on the formula to calculate your max, not everyone the same! Everyone's heart work differently, age does not define it. If your HRM shows 202, your max either that or higher.

Heather, good to know your friend was able to get on running since 4, 5 weeks after. I cannot wait to be able to do that this time too. May be I'll start working out with the bodyrocker at that time. I loaded my bike in my car this morning and hoping for a bike ride at lunch time. But I don't think I can do it, it's gonna…

I'll say try to eat your exercises calories back. Yes, you need fuel for muscles, it takes more to maintain/grow then maintaining fat.
-
I read something similar yesterday too. Otherwise be prepare to count extra 200-400 in addition to what restaurant claimed.

Great job. Just make sure you are doing it a healthy way. Enjoy your journey and a healthy lifestyle
