MidniteDayDream, I hear you. I suddenly out grow 2 of my favorite snacks: peanuts and chocolate. Now I can stare at them and have no desire to eat it at all.

I'm surprised that your doctor said that about being a bit old. I had my first child when I'm 36, and when I asked if I'll get any special treatment due to "a bit old", she said "nope". I'm healthy and age does not define my condition. So have fun and it'll be a bless.

When you cook, just measure every ingredient yourself. Enter all in your recipes on MFP, and you'll have your calories info. Thanks for sharing

I think on the site itself, there are success photos/stories there (I've seen it, not sure it will show everyday). Check out the right side of the page. You should definitely give a try

If you have plan to workout, start eating more during the day. Look at your diary for today, you had very light breakfast/AM snacks/lunch/PM snacks. So in future, try to eat more on a workout day, especially now you probably got very familiar how much you might burn.

Instead of buying one and stuck with it, try just google it. There are so many online recipes that you can find.

Oatmeal, and I usually add extra to it: * protein power (extra protein) * wheat germ (vitamin E & folic acid) * flax seeds (fiber, omega-3) You can also add a little fruits with your oatmeal

You are not alone. Not everyone can do push-ups when they started, including me. Now I can. There is always a starting point. Don't be afraid of weights, they are actually can be fun. Weight training days are my favorite. Here is something for you to read: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/myth-of-women-lifting-heavy.htm…

Weights, definitely. Lifting heavy weights 2-3 times a week, it will change your body composition, help build lean muscle and burn off the fat better.

The default setting % of protein on MFP is pretty low. Your current setting for protein before workout is only 45g. I'm sure you could use more. Found a site might help you easily determine your intake: http://www.howmuchprotein.com/daily-protein-intake.php Basic rule (NOTE: this is based on kilogram, not pound): 0.5 to…

It sounds wonderful to me. May I bring our dog for you to train for that?

I would only do after a workout AND have no easy access to protein after that. Protein from whole food still your best bet for healthier lifestyle. On a rest day, much better to eat real food, don't you think so? It's just me.

Not try to judge, but try to help. I glanced your diary quickly, and it looks to me you are eating quite a lot of empty unhealthy snacks (Vodka Skyy Cherry, coco cola). I'm not seeing it like from time to time, it seems like a daily 20+ oz. Just an observation. May be try to eat healthier, less eating out, etc.

Very common. Sugar, fat & sodium make people crave for it.

I eat a well balanced diet (50% carb, 30% protein, 20% fat). Fruits and vegetable contains carb, if you go low carb, you are cutting all those great stuffs. I don't want to be a person kept eating meat (little meat-head) and it's just not healthy. Good luck

Agree. I would rather replace the apple juice with a real apple (with skin = fiber). I'm glad to see someone eating a good number servings of fruits and vegetables. You might want to watch out the raisin. Grapes itself is very high in sugar among other fruits. May be just smaller portion, or not eating everyday.

I borrow (as much as I can) from the library first. If I really really like it, then I'll buy it.
