Heather, what a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing and loving your picture. Good luck at the breastfeeding and enjoy the best time in the world with your new born!

I'm wondering whether I just woke up the little bun or not. She was very quite (may be sleeping) earlier. Then I started put my headphones on and listening to music (blocking noise from nearby cube). Now she's jumping around, kicking away.

jrueckert, I totally understand the motivation seeing the scale drop (before prego). Now I'm still trying to use the scale as one of my motivation - don't go up too fast. :-)

It was so weird watching my baby mutilating my belly tonight. Instead of feeling her kicks, I decided to stare at my belly earlier. I watched her got my popped up belly button sucked in like a cave, my belly was waving like tides. Definitely amusing. :-)

Heather, great walk! Hope your baby want to come out soon, nice and easy for you! My real life friend, who is due tomorrow, told me today she think her water might broke a couple of hours ago. It sounds pretty on time to me for that one. :-)

Wow, really cannot keep up with all the posts came so fast! Last time I try to read thru, it was just barely 3 pages... Just want to check in quickly, and say hi to everyone. I had a doctor's appoinment today and had a glucose tolerance test. Won't know the result til tomorrow. Everything is great, baby girl heart beat is…

For him: * lots of push-ups * lots of pull-ups, chin-ups * lots of sit-ups * lots of running * lift weight (free weights or machine)

If you are doing the same workout, your body will get used to and learn to be efficient (about how to use less muscle and burn less energy). Take up a notch and step up with more intensive workout. You look young, and 30 min walk is really nothing (in my opinion). * Go for a longer walk, with more hills; * Start running if…

Amy - Welcome aboard. I'm 40, having my 2nd too. My sister (42) is like you, have a 15 year old daughter (and a 3 yr old boy), now she's pregnant again. My doctor never treat me differently due to age. On the other hand, I'm probably in better shape in my life now than when I was having my first child. Age do not define…

I cannot help and had to share... This morning while I was still laying on my left side, just waking up, the baby rolled somehow, and got my upper belly a small ping-pong ball shape. :-) Last night she rolled to get my bottom right belly rock solid hard. Well even it's not my first pregnancy, but it's first time this baby…

Rayna, what a beautiful name you picked! Lots of middle name though. :-) I'm so agree with you about getting very anxious when not feeling the baby kicking. Mine does the same, likes to boxing/kicking a lot. Started was more at night, now she's be doing that more in the day time too. I'm glad that I sit while I work, so I…

Question: if you have opened a box, will they let you exchange half box? Was return shipping is free too? Just curious.

It's true each baby is different but one thing they seems in common is grow out of size NB & 1 fast. :-) I would ask them get more on size 3, 4 (especially 3 & 4). It might sounds you won't be used it for a little while, but you will need lots of those (3, 4) sizes). May be tell one individual to get size 1 and one to get…

Just keep in mind for those who is getting diapers online: Be careful not order too many size 1 or 2 or smaller diapers, because your baby will out grow those VERY fast! Most long lasting and useful size will be size 3 and 4. Unless you are gonna save those size 1 & 2 for your next one. Also, just checked Sam's Club…

Kirkland (Costco) wipe - cheaper and durable. Used it for my first kid. I do NOT like Huggie's wipe thought. Diaper - I know the best is Pampers, but I shop @ Costco, they only offer Huggies and their own brand. They seems works ok for our first kid.

You are not building muscles. Since you started working out, you body most likely just changing composition, and it does take a few weeks or longer to do that before you'll notice weight drop.

1. Start trying replace eating whole grain instead refined flour, such as have brown rice (I found short grain brown rice taste very nutty and soft), use whole grain bread/bagel/waffle, etc. Make sure you read the "ingredients" to make sure "whole grain" is the first ingredient. Eat more sweet potato instead of regular…

If your goal is set to have 1200 a day (you are using MFP tool to set your goal), it's already built in the deficit for you to lose weight, even if you don't exercises. However, with exercises, it has much more benefit and help you lose faster. BUT since the 1200 setting already have deficit built in, when you exercises…
