Just a quick check in... I'm super sore yesterday after a 1 hour pretty tough strength workout by Bob Harper, then follow a walk in very windy condition. I was pooped last night. Still sore today, but not as bad. We went for a Trick or Treat Path event last night and my kid had fun doing it with one of his best friend from…

You do need to provide more info though. In addition to open your diary, you might want to tell us about your workout routines, frequency, etc.

* When I walk, it's between 135-145, up to 155+ if with constant hills (I walk really fast); * When I run, it's between 150-170, usually try to keep it under 170 by slowing down or switch to a walk (not based on heart rate, but usually in upper 160s, I won't be able to talk - I test myself from time to time to make sure…

Don't see it's a good balance diet to me, unless you balance it out with your breakfast & dinner... What's your usual diet? What kind of exercises do you do?

It's great cooking for one! I can cook anything I like without worry about whether others will eat that or not. When I cook just for myself, I tend to cook LOTs of vegi too. Just like others, I normally have leftover for lunch. Otherwise, make a sandwich or salad, etc. Those frozen meal taste bad, bad for you. I only tried…

Heather - how exciting! You are getting there. :-) I think mine is a nocturnal baby. She click big when daylight is gone. I was sitting on couch with hubby last night watching a movie, and she won't stop kicking. I put a hand on where she kicked the most and definitely felt a big kick moving my hand. Hubby was able to feel…

Rayna - With my first child, I had a few baby showers and it's all before the baby arrival. Agree with H-82, not too close to your due day, just in case.

I used bassinet next to our bed for the first a few weeks, for our first child. It seems helps adjusting frequent waking up at night since I really don't want to get out of my bed. Then we move him to the crib later on after I realized I was waking up too easy even with the baby turning and making very little sound - per…

About furniture, we got out son's dressers from IKEA. It's not real wood but very sturdy. And we pick a one has rounded corner (nothing sharp). And the price is unbeatable. Haven't thought about getting new furniture for the baby yet, but we probably should. For gym membership. I used to belong one, only $30 a month with…

You go do it today girl!!! I canceled mine membership when Summer came, and I end up going outside a lot (running, walking & biking) this year. I also bought adjustable weights at home for those days I'm not going any where. We have a very small gym at work too, but I feel more comfortable doing my weight training at home.

It seems like great review on this DVD on Amazon. I don't have that, but I use "The Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 1", and I really like the workout (other than not happy with the DVD quality). I have another a few Yoga DVDs but haven't tried yet.

mistibergman -- Congrats again. Interesting... I thought once get to this point, the due date shouldn't change because every baby grow a bit differently. During earlier weeks, it's the best to determine the correct due date. Well, anyway. I hope you'll feel better soon. There are so many posts to keep up with, I'll take my…

Rayna - poor husband of yours. :-) I spared my husband from watching anything like that. During my labor for our first child, he was there the whole time but keeping his eyes on me instead of anywhere else, which is perfectly fine with me. One of my husband's co-worker told a story about during his wife's delivery. He…

I do that too. I usually try: - don't buy snacks that I won't stop eating - when I want reach for food, try drink some tea (water is too bland to stop me thinking about food) - chew gum (quite successful doing that) - grab fruits instead - go with smaller portion just to get it over with - go for a walk or get busy with…
