http://shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com/index2.html There are a bunch of links in this page, and you should spend sometime to read them. So you can understand how MFP works, etc. You only have 20 lb to lose, make sure you eat them ALL back. Also, try to set your goal to lose 0.5 - 1 lb a week, no more.

A friend of mine have constant headaches every day, all day long - she's currently pregnant. Her doctor prescribe her - coke, and she said it saved her. Don't ask me why :-)
-
Yeah, what? :-) I usually provide it @ the office.

@MidniteDayDream, also look for local breastfeeding support, which you should be able to get info about it while you are in the hospital. I didn't know last time, no support and it was real hard for me, which I failed (only able pump, for 8 months)

Article: "Is it safe to eat sushi while pregnant? Larry Pickering infectious disease specialist I would say no. Although the chances of getting a parasitic infection from eating sushi are slim, the consequences are severe enough that you wouldn't want to take the risk. Parasites live in the meat of raw fish. While sushi…

It's all about a good balance

It's easy for some people, but some (like) me have hardest time. But I have full use of my electric pump - time consuming thought, but at least my kid get the full benefit of it. I just got a bunch of books about breastfeeding. Gonna again prepare myself, and hoping this time works out better.
-
Yup, flu shot for me for sure. Definitely breastfeeding for me. I did that for my first kid, about 8 months. Although I wasn't able to breastfeed him, didn't workout for us, I use pump --> yes, I did that for 8 months, for the love of my child. :-) I hope this time it'll work out better. Once I go back to work, I'll also…

Exercises, exercises, exercises! I lowered mine (from 203, borderline, to 179) after 3 months of good (5-6 days) exercises. Fresh vegi, fruits, lean mean, beans. I do eat eggs (mix with some egg whites so I can have more eggs).
-
What I miss the most: - dark chocolates (I lost interest 3 months ago) - sushi, or some other types of the fish I cannot consume right now - not getting up to pee 2-3 times (at least) in the middle of the night

Apparently hubby is very protective which he never show verbally or otherwise. I told him I'll help him move the old tv stand from the spare room downstairs (garbage). But, he silently moved it down all by himself without letting me know.

I agree. It's very important for us to read labels and ingredient. Something sounds unrealistically great, usually just a marketing pitch. Anything like that, just another process food. Try to learn drink water (with some lemon), or drink some green tea (without anything cream/sugar). Be healthy and be happy!

Vitamin water isn't good either (again, I won't put that crap in my mouth), read this, and I'm sure you'll find more if you google it. "The Truth About Vitamin Water" - http://healthyeatingnaturally.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/the-truth-about-vitamin-water/

Doesn't sounds like anything I want to put in my mouth. Read the whole article here: http://www.fooducate.com/blog/2010/08/07/sobe-lifewater-0-calories/ I'm quoting partial here: "We randomly picked the SoBe lifewater yumberry pomegranate flavor and took a close look inside the label. Here’s the ingredient list: Filtered…

How much is "too much" you are talking about? 1000-1200 should be what you would like to have daily as a female. Extra calcium will just flush out of your system, no harm done. Too little fiber is not good. Aim for at least 20 gram (if you weight more, you need more). My daily goal for fiber actually set to 25.

Finally get hubby to start cleaning the unused spare room upstairs. Our son is helping because he wanted that room to be his new bedroom. I'll try to measure the windows, and we'll get nice curtain up so he can move to the new room. Need to set up a baby room before I get too tired in 3 months. For me, it's a laundry and…

First of all, if you cannot control eat the whole bag of chips, don't buy it. If you can get it at home, then you won't eat it. Do you have hard time to fall asleep or fall back to sleep at night? For me, once I brush my teeth before bed, I hate eating anything. Treat yourself thru out the day with healthier snacks, don't…

This morning I'm pretty sure I felt baby moved, it's like little butterfly in my belly on one side, a few times. I'm psyched! Hope everyone have a great holiday weekend!
-
Yay, that's great!
-
Agree. There are so many other way to prepare for vegi, as ^this mentioned.
-
Actually that's not true. Google it, there are tons different type of smoothie recipes out there. Keep looking and you'll find many has no apple juice at all. Also, you can always modify it to your own taste.
-
I like all kinds of fresh fruits for snacks, and handful of nuts

Cook your own meal over the weekend, portion size and freeze them.

<--- Brave enough to post my picture (with my hair just got chopped very short -> not liking it...) I've been reading all the posts everyday to keep up with everyone. Good to see so many activities. Today I had my check up, 3lb gain in 4 weeks, from last visit. Baby heart rate is 159. When I lay down, I don't seems have…

cutmd, I'm so sorry to hear. You are definitely in my prayer.

Yeah, but those "evolved" diets don't seem to be working out terribly well for humanity. If it doesn't have the term "caveman" or "paleo" slapped in front of it, is a diet of vegetables, meats, fruits and nuts not "evolved"? If not, how is it not? Is it better to take advantage of the latest in "food technology" offered up…
