OK, so I'm now trying to add it in the recipes. I used 1 whole chicken. It was 3 lbs. The builder lists many different whole chickens, I selected "Chicken, whole chicken". Now it's asking me how many servings at how many 4 ounce servings. So, 3*16=48/4(oz) - 12. Plus my other ingredients, it came out to 272 cals if it's 12…

I think that is what hindered me last time I did my fitness pal. Since I cook so much and I use many ingredients ( this was a very simple soup ) I am doing a lot of entering and recipe building, which takes up a lot of time. Update: My brand new- 5 day in-- charge, went kaput. It kept resetting my steps to 1991. I called customer service and they are sending me a new one. We tried resetting, resyncing, and other things but it does not work. At one point I had reset it and my step count was at 0. When I resynced it jumped up to 1991. It will…

Update: My step count went all the way down t0 1996 steps. Now I think there's something wrong with it. I didn't mention that it did this already in the AM. I had forgotten about it.

Like I said, I had already added my morning steps manualy and although it shows in the log,it is not part of my step count. I'll try again with the stroller and see if it tracks. I can't push with one hand because I have a quad stroller and it is very heavy.

NM- I found the Sedentary setting on another screen. I changed it to that (ignored the Manual Calorie Consumption Target) and now my calories are much closer. MFP says 312 left and Fitbit says 283. Thank you Shadow2soul!

Got it. Should I also change the Manual Calorie Consumption Target to 1200 (which is what MFP is) ?

Just saw this! Brand new user and mine is not synced. For calories burned, how do I update that in the mfp log?

Can someone help with syncing issues? I read the sticky- uninstalled the apps via the web, as inctructed, re installed them and my exercise does not show up- it's at 0. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm on day 20 and don't see and real improvement. I measure and nada. I' do a mix of advance and some modification, but I try to keep up with the advanced moves. Hopefully I'll se *something* when I start level 3.

YOu see, that's where i think genetics comes into play (along with other stuff, of course). They walk/bike more than we do.

That was very interesting. If you notice, it's not just the US that has processed food. Off the top of my head England and other developed countries had a lot as well. Loved the Mexico spread, minus the zillion cokes, and Turkey stood out for me. Chad made me really sad. :(

Thanks, everyone! You guys are great. :) I'm barefoot most of the time too, so my body likes it. However, I will pick up some wraps for my feet for the arches. Jillian M loves those jumping jacks and high kicks.

There are tons of places to eat here that won't break the bank. Check out Tom Sietsema's column, the Going out Guru's and especially the Restaurant guide on the Washington POst Food Section. There are SO many great places to eat. Have a great time while you are visiting!

I've got tiger claw sized stretch marks from both my kids. I'll never wear a 2 piece, but eh, what-evs. I doubt they'll ever go away and I don't think my skin will be taut.--- but maybe the'll be hope. You ladies look great. :D
