Personally I do both, to me it’s about balance. Cardio helps my overall fitness and strength training sculpts. It depends on your goals to be honest. If you want to lose weight and look good then both are required. If your focus is strength then put more emphasis on that. You catch my drift 😊

Hi, I think it’s potentially the mind set. For example I don’t label anything as ‘bad.’ I eat 80/20 so majority of the time I eat well but if I’m out for a meal and I fancy chips then I’ll have it. Took a while to get into but it’s been really helpful not labelling foods. Lost over 4 stone in total now. Good luck 😊

Hi, I've put on 6lbs since jan but feel much much bigger. The beauty of 5:2 is that you lose inches as well as weight. However when you gain, you get back the inches AND weight. Not giving up this time

Thank you- I always eat lots if protein, any carbs I usually have are from veg. I'll keep an eye on it

What your saying makes PERFECT sense...I don't know why people are giving you such a hard time. Its a LIFESTYLE change....if your not ready to incorporate exercise as part of your 'lifestylye' then why bother - no wonder people regain the weight. If people are looking for a quick fix for a wedding or holiday or something…

I'm new to running myself and went from not being able to run for 2 minutes in January to building up to 25 minutes tonight (mini victory) and I weight 226 pounds. Due to my work schedule...i eat when its 'time' to eat personally. I never let myself get hungry if you know what I mean. It works for me at the moment :)
