  • You said you don't have time at work for small meals, what about snacks like banana's or granola bars? If you could throw a banana or healthy cereal bar in mid-morning or mid-afternoon that would give you an extra 200-500 calories depending on the brand of bar and the fat in them is usually at least the "healthy" kind.

  • This is up there next to the sugar tax that considers luna bars candy but kit-kats ok and the potato tax that didn't count pringles but counted all other chips. Not the governments place to tell fast food restaurants what they can and can not sell me.

  • I love microwave breakfast wraps. I mix an egg, some shredded cheese and whatever veggies I have (sometimes I throw in some lunchmeat) in a microwavable bowl and heat for 1 1/2-2 minutes while I get dressed, then I just dump it out on a tortilla wrap it up and eat it in the car on my way to work.
  • I've never been a smoker but a friend substituted carrot sticks for smoking in college. Chewing gum helped me quit biting my nails maybe that would help your sugar craving too since it's kind of sweet?

  • I try to keep my weekly and monthly averages as close to my goal as possible, my weekly average is usually over whenever we travel or have people visit but I try to make up for it by keeping myself in line the rest of the month.

  • 900 calories per day isn't healthy for most people....have you checked with a doctor to make sure you're getting enough? Coma patients get 1200 calories/day just to keep their brains and organs functioning, that's why it is kind of used as a benchmark for "starvation mode"

  • I can't work out on an empty stomach so I usually eat a banana or a cereal bar on the way to the gym. Every now and then I will have a protein shake depending on what my other meals for the day are going to look like.
