I lost my weight with calories at 1500. I'm 5'5.5".... close enough? I also ate my exercise calories so I usually ate between 1700-1800 cals a day.

WHAT you eat is also important - not just how much. As another poster suggested - keep it clean - lean meats, lots of veggies, nuts, some fresh fruit. 100% whole grains

I log everything - even my calorie free tea. I log spices too - even if it is just a couple of calories - and yes, I log my vitamins - they have calories too! (AND they DO add up!)
