I personally don't like the pre-set macros on MFP. I like 40% carbs, 30% fat and 30% protein. This helps maintain muscle mass (or even build new muscle). I've had good success with this macro setting -In addition, I try to eat 28 grams of fiber a day so I'm also easily satisfied with the higher protein and fiber. Good luck!

I agree with the eat better and drink more water post. Yup, sounds gimmicky. If you are wanting to "balance" out some sodium intake in your diet, try increasing your potassium - broccoli, beans, bananas. Enjoy! :)

I increased my calories by about 200. I find that the calculations on here are more or less correct. For me, losing those last few pounds and maintaining are nearly one and the same. I'd say up your calories to 1500, you'll still lose weight, and will give you some more "room" to not be so hungry. Works for me! :) Oh and KUDOS to you for eating cleaner - it will make all the difference. Calories matter yes, but the QUALITY of those calories IS very important - though many will try to tell you otherwise.
