Ok, I admit I tried one of those walking DVD's... but I didn't enjoy it. It doesn't suit my 'workout personality' for lack of a better term. However, if you're looking for a low-impact video, I found jillian Michael's "Yoga Meltdown" to be quite challenging. (and it's available free on youtube, if you want to try it)

The body weight strength routine I do is only 45 min, including warm up and stretching. If you only have time for one thing - do strength work. Your body will love you for it.

My insanity has caused me injuries on more than one occasion. But the doctors have changed my medication, and I'm doing much better now.

Yes. Your body needs recovery time, especially if you're really pushing yourself during your workouts.

Stress and lack of sleep can be a factor, yes. But you are already at what is considered a healthy weight for your height. Maybe you should look into body recomposition, rather than the scale for the time being. IE - read up on how to reduce your body fat %.

I don't even track it. Sugar is a sub-set of carbs. Unless you have a medical reason to track sugar, don't worry about it. Fruit has natural sugars, which will spike that sugar number. But fruit is good for you, so have some. I just try to pick better quality sugars (ex - fruit and veg instead of refined white sugar)

You have to go into the settings and change your goal to 'maintain' instead of losing. MFP won't automatically do it.

this might seem from out of left field, but how is your fat intake? Some people actually eat too little fat, which affects your hormones.

a little bit of cardio to warm up your muscles before lifting. Then lift. If you want, more cardio after. You don't want your muscles to already be tired when you start your lifting for the day.

Well... you still have to know the calories you're consuming. Whatever works for ya... but I'm pretty sure Paleo man would have LOVED a glass of milk with a biscuit, so I think the whole paleo thing is just a distraction.

I don't think you gained 4 lbs of fat. I can easily gain 5 lbs overnight just in water retention from things like TOM, a salty meal, more strenuous exercise. Drink a lot of water for the next couple days, it's likely to go away.

I just keep the microwave turned on until the egg explodes, then scrape it onto my plate with a spatula. Picking the bits of shell out of my teeth gets tedious though - maybe I should rethink this.
