I am in Kansas City, Missouri and we get spaghetti squash every year. Actually there may still be some in the grocery stores right now. But mostly it is a late fall/winter food. When all the other squashes are in season. If you have any CSA's in your area (Community Supported Agriculture farms) you might contact them and…

there are TONS of full workouts vids and clips from some other workout vids all over on YouTube. If nothing else, you can check out the different trainers that have workout videos out and see who you like the best before you start buying them willy-nilly. There is probably plenty there to get you going at the very least.

Thanks everyone... and I admit, generally, No, Thank you is not enough of an answer... Italian families have no comprehension of turning down food... I just tend to get really ticked off when I feel like I am being ignored... or not heard... and I guess a big part of the problem is that if I have a plate of food in my hand…

another standard idea is just tuna and tomato. that is pretty good

starkist now has a tuna that is 50% less sodium. I don't notice any difference in the flavor. I add a can of tuna to my salads. Not very inventive I know... but it is different than what you are currently doing.

I have given up rice, all pasta's, all breads... I just can't seem to let go of the potatoes... I did it because they literally put me to sleep. They always have, even when I was young. The rice and breads weren't much of an issue. Pasta was a bit more of a challenge because I love all kinds of pasta's... But like I said,…

I count them all. Veggies have more nutritional value and less sugar and calories but they still count. Fruits, WOW!! you might do a bit of research and check out the calories and sugars and carbs that are in fruits. Very High Values!! I would recommend counting it all for a month and see how things look and then decide if…

Ok ladies... been there done all of that! and so glad I am past it. However, a couple of things that I picked up along the way that seriously worked like a charm are High doses of B complex and raspberry tea. Now, I am not a doc by any stretch of the imagination so I am just telling you what worked for me. I would find the…

Sent you a note. My intention is to be here for the long haul. I have 80 pounds to lose. I am so tired of all of the health issues that I keep developing as a result of my extra weight. I really liked your Motivational statement of not being held hostage by your weight any longer... I completely relate with that statement.

I sent you a PM about a local Nutritionist that I have worked with. Hope this helps.

I really have to watch my sodium. Some of the things that I try to do are: 1) No more eating out in restaurants. you never know what they have put into the food or marinated the meat with. 2) No more prepared foods from the frozen foods section of the grocery store. It is extremely for me to find a frozen meal of any kind…
