I have gone through periods of time where I drink red wine daily. I just decided I was going to cut back to 3 days a week- I just had to decide to sacrifice my wine time in order to adjust to fewer calories.

me! I had #3 April 23rd and I am having a terrible time losing. I weighed 188 when I got pregnant (sadly a low point in weight for my adult life)- I am currently 205, after gaining 10 lbs back I had lost post-partum. I am nursing and struggle with the constant hunger- add to that a 5 and 3 year old, renovating a house and…

I ended up making this recipe last night and had some this morning. Very good! I added some more coffee to my cup to stretch it a little further. I used regular sugar, but you could easily substitute splenda or stevia or whatever sweetener you like.

Congrats! I too am almost 9 weeks pregnant. This is my 3rd, and a surprise for sure! With my 1st pregnancy I started at 195 lbs and delivered at 210lbs, with my 2nd I started at 210 (I had recently gained back about 15 lbs, I delivered at 230 lbs. This time I am starting at 190 lbs (I am 5'7"). I am trying to track…

I had an emergency c-section with my first and a vaginal birth with my second. I am aiming for another vaginal birth this time around as well, for me, the recovery was much easier and quicker- although, I did have a very easy c-section recovery considering it is a major abdominal surgery.

Hi ladies! I just found out I am due with out 3rd, a complete surprise! To say this has been a mental adjustment is an understatement, but I am trying to embrace this! I have a daughter- 4 years old, and a son- 2 years old, both April babies. I am due April 29th according to my LMP, and have my first OB appt in 2 weeks. I…

are you eating back your exercise calories? Often times this number is very inflated. Are you weighing, measure all your foods and liquids? What are you stats- age/height/weight/sex?
-
Yes- I have pretty much stopped all progress since July 4th. I had a few not so great days around the holiday, then a bunch of birthdays. I have also noticed I am drinking more frequently in the evening and have been going out more often. I am still tracking and pretty much eating at maintenance. I just get so down on…

what about calling the police to see what they advise? Maybe they would be willing to set up radar if you let them know speeding cars are a concern. This may deter some of the speeders. I live on a fairly narrow road without much of a shoulder- most people are able to slow down and move over enough, but I have had some…

The other day my sister told my 4 year old she "needed to stop growing." My daughter, with a total straight face, responses "No, I need to keep growing so I can drink wine." Oops, lol!

Ouch! Sciatica is no fun at all! I fell down the stairs approx 2 years ago. Within 6 months I was having excruciating sciatic nerve pain- this was attributed to possibly the trauma, 2 pregnancies in 2 years, my genetic hip structure, and being overweight (a great combination!) Anyways, I ended up having surgery shortly…

Fat secret.... not sure it was so secret once i gained about 50 lbs in one year, but I hated college. I was popular in high school, but insecure. Going to college made me feel even worse about myself. I started at about 185 or so (so, overweight already) and peaked at 238 in about 12-18 months. I hated the thought of…
