wow! amazing transformations on both of you!

my vote also goes for a Polar- I still have my old F4 and love it! Good luck!

I think this is a great point. In my reflection, I realized I would "allow" myself to make poor choices and over eat when I was emotionally upset. Yesterday I was able to identify I was stressed and pissed and had a bad attitude- I stopped myself before it turned into a full on binge.

I went over my calorie goal yesterday and am planning out my day today. I will drink lots of water, plan out my meals and stick to it, and get in a walk later. The hardest part for me is the mental- not saying F-it and just continuing overeating today. Just let it go :)

So, there are only Americans on this site? hmmm... and why do you have 30 lbs to lose then?
-
Me :) I have also been on MFP for a while (on and off- having 2 kids in between, using WW, etc) and am just getting into the "friend" thing. I have logged for 30 days now and would love to have some active friends!

and i guess I should elaborate and say, not sit ups, but more moves laying on my back, lifting my legs, etc.

yeah, herniated discs are no fun- I had surgery last year after herniating 2 discs. I also suggest seeing a doctor and getting a proper diagnosis. I will say post op the physical therapy I received put a heavy emphasis on strengthening my core muscles.

awesome! and I bet at your next visit you will be able to ride the one you really wanted to, congratulations!

I started my journey at 238 lbs, lost about 30 through WW, came to MFP and stopped after I got down to 189- now am back. Once I saw 2** on the scale again I knew I had to come back, so here I am at 196.8 lbs. Feel free to add me as well!

I can relate to this very much. I have been overweight my entire life, ranging from "chubby" to obese as an adult. I have a very hard time envisioning myself at a healthy weight. I just have faith that my perseverance and changes will show me the results I have a hard time fully envisioning.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I have cut back my wine drinking. I found that I increasing becoming a nightly drinker and not that I was necessarily "concerned" I was dependent on it, I just felt I would enjoy it more if I kept to drinking on the weekends or going out to dinner. I now enjoy my extra calories by eating…
-
I agree, I treat those "extras" as a bonus calorie burn.

"Dry!"

Great suggestion!

that is awesome! congratulations, not an easy feat!

Most (if not all) doctors offices would let you use their scale to track your weight for free- especially if your doctor is a part of your medical team helping you gain weight.
-
woohoo! nice!

I am glad you are proud of how far you have come. I think the best "revenge" would be there, smile, be humble, and socialize- if you are genuinely feeling so self confident it should not matter what their reactions are, let it go.
-
Congrats! What a difference- and look at your bum now! :)
-
What an inspirational journey! Congratulations, keep it up, and I can't wait to see your 100lbs loss entry :) oh, and I love the shorts story! lol
-
great job!
-
You look amazing! And forget the 165 lbs (awesome) lost, you look like you lost 20 years!
-
I also stick to the rolls without rice-rolled in cucumber, no tempura, or sauces besides a little soy and lots of wasabi and ginger!

I would schedule a few sessions with a trainer, this may help you feel more comfortable around the other people who seem to know what they are doing.
