You look fantastic!!! I hope I look like that when I get to 215 :D

That's fantastic! You can go skydiving now! My short-term goal is to be 230 so I can go skydiving. Have a great day!!!

Hopefully this works :) You look great :) Is there an after picture?

I started at a 24 (almost 26) Now I'm comfortably in an 18!

Exactly, one cup of chocolate pudding weighs more than one cup of whipped cream

There still aren't enough pictures in this thread either.

Yes my arms do fall asleep at night. I like to sleep on my stomach. I bet that's why. I'll try to relax them more next time. I've been really focusing on my breathing lately and maybe my posture is lacking a little bit. I'm still pretty new to this so there's a lot to get used to. Thanks for the help everyone, I'm glad I'm…

I don't think I do, but maybe. Thanks :)

I love that site. I like looking up my goal weight too :)

You can add me if you want, I'm not usually funny on purpose, but I am supportive

I do :D Now that I'm in my 30s I've finally given up on trying to tame my hair, I just let it do what it wants. (in my profile pic my hair is still wet)

LOL, I almost posted this today!

Thank you, that's what I thought :)

I like to think that I'm stronger than the foods I eat. There shouldn't be any food that is capable of "forcing" you to eat it. I used to think that I couldn't function without my diet pepsi, then I realized how silly that is. If a food/drink can control me that much than it can't be good for me. I gave it up cold turkey,…

There are plenty of other people he knows doing the race at all different speed levels. I think he'd be pretty safe if he did go off ahead of me. Oh I'm just so undecided!

Thank you, I think you're right maybe I should let him try. That is sweet, I wish Dad would come with us, maybe someday.
-
The other thing I was thinking of was running the 1 mile fun run with him then doing the 5k. I'd get a 20 minute break in between, but that might just be insane.
-
I was afraid of that. I'm not sure, he might be able to or he might get sick of it halfway through. I think I'll take him for a walk with me tomorrow night and see how he does with going a long distance.
-
Is that usually allowed? That would be a great idea. I'm sure he could do it with some practice, but we only have 5 days.

If you want to shelter your kid from junk food than that's your responsibility, not the responsibility of anyone else. If you don't want them to have it at a friend's house then it's your choice not to send her there. You can't expect your kid's friend's parents to shelter your kid for you. Unfortunately that's what comes…

If I stay on track during that time of the month I can usually not gain anything, sometimes there's even a nice drop once it's over. But it's so easy to get off track!

This was me last year. I had been fat my whole life. I'd let my weight make me feel like less of a person. I realized it's not worth it. I don't care about being skinny! I don't want to have surgery, and I don't want to starve myself. I don't need the cute clothes, or the attention. I decided that if I weighed 318 lbs for…

What helps me a lot is to make things ahead of time so I don't have to use so many convenience foods. Boiled eggs are a great source of protein, and you can boil a bunch ahead of time to take to work. Or make up a big batch of real macaroni and cheese and pack it to go. Carbs may make you feel fuller at first, but proteins…

I'm excited for you that you want to make an effort! That's the first step! It seems really hard now but it will get easier, I promise. I agree with everyone else who said Leslie Sansone, she is fantastic! It's fun and you really feel like you're doing something. That said I don't think anything can beat walking outside.…

You look fantastic!!! My starting weight was 318 and I remember the day I hit 298, I was so excited. That was when I realized that I can actually do this and I really started trying to lose more. I joined myfitnesspal the next day! I'm at 260 now. You are definitely a success story already! 89 lbs is amazing! Keep up the…

Just keep plugging away at it and the scale will catch up eventually. How do you feel inside? Do you have more energy? Are you happy with yourself? I think those are the biggest markers of success. And even if you don't lose it's worth it to have a healthy lifestyle for so many other reasons. Remember your kids and wife…

If I remember right you can go to weigh in and then click on "edit previous entries" and it will show a list of your past weigh-ins.

I get a lot of ads for the Spartan races (probably cause I've been looking into doing one). The ads are a good reminder. Of course now that I'm typing this there's an ad for kitkats
