primekayprime Mon Week 4 PW: 221.6 CW: 226.0 Trending in the entirely wrong direction. Let's try this again.

I just realized I didn't post my weigh in for Mon! Whoops! primekayprime Mon Week 3 PW: 219.6 CW: 221.6

You have a routine during your week. Establish one for your weekends. I find that keeping busy during the weekend helps me to stay on track. I have one dedicated rest day. But for the most part I like to get the house together, meal prep, go for a hike, and just do things that I enjoy but that keep me busy

I love this idea! I can't wait to see what everyone shares! Here's mine: A decent pair of running shoes! When I first decided that I was going to try running, every list I came across of Tips for New Runners suggested that you get evaluated for the right shoe. I thought it was dumb. A sneaker is a sneaker, right? Well,…

@cmhubbard92 as someone who is also trying to build her running stats, I know how amazing this is. Great job! You must feel awesome!

primekayprime Mon Week 2 PW: 224.2 CW: 219.6 Plateau busted!

I'm one of those people who eased into it. That's pretty much my approach to this entire journey. Whenever I introduce something new, I do it gradually. Much like you, I started by just being honest with my tracking without changing any of my eating habits. I was eating about 4-5k cal a day on my own. Then, I started…

You look great! Congrats!

@jmalderman LOL It's always good to be clear when we are speaking out thoughts into the universe. I am sure you will hit that target next week!
-
@cmhubbard92 I am listed as having a Fri weigh-in on the spreadsheet but I wanted Mon. Can you please have this updated?
-
primekayprime Week 1 Sun for now but hopefully Mon soon  PW: 224.8 CW: 224.2

I still plan to weigh in! But in Feb, I asked to move my day to Mon. Is this possible? @cmhubbard92

primekayprime Sun Week 4 PW: 224.8 CW: 224.8 I have been fluctuating between the same 1lb for 3wks! This must be one of those plateaus I've heard so much about. I'm sure adding strength training is part of this but I am going to tighten up on my calories (I've been playing it pretty loose) to see if I can break through…

I second RCPV. Socially isolating yourself because you're worried about food intake is extreme and most concerning. But as someone else said, there is a lot to unpack here. With that said, I recently reflected on my own overeating and restricting behavior. I saw the restricting very much as you see your purging, a…

You can want it all you like. An idea without a plan is just a dream. Motivation gets you started. Dedication and planning keeps you on track. Some days it is a GRIND and you will not have any motivation to stick to it, especially the first few weeks. But what helped me through it was making small changes, slowly. I didn't…

@Coral333 health is wealth, mental and physical. Good luck!

Our weight loss is at a similar point! My diary is always open and has its share of ugly lol. An open diary and logging everything is an important element in my journey since part of my unhealthy relationship with food is hiding my intake. SW: 250 CW: 225 GW: 175 to assign a number but no distinct weight goal, just…

@Coral333 What a great pace! I am trying to finish a 5K training. I hope to focus on pace after that and do a 10min/mi. You are totally goals for me right now! (And as a desert dweller, I'll take your route view along the coast while I'm at it!)

@Coral333 how awesome! I'm quite jealous of your scenery along the coast! Your low battery is giving me anxiety though! Lol

primekayprime Sun Week 4 PW: 229.0 CW: 229.0 While there is no loss on the scale this week, my NSVs have been abundant, one of which includes having distinguishable ankles again lol. Also, I am confident that I am down inches. I haven't measured for this week yet, but based on how my clothes are fitting, something is…

Good for you! I have found having more nutritious and satisfying alternatives around helps me 90% of the time

@thedestar I can relate. My workouts have been nothing but struggle this week. My eating has been a struggle. This week is just a struggle. But I'm doing my best and that's all I can manage. We have the power to implement the change that we seek and a "meh" week won't distract us from our goals. This too shall pass.
-
@brandi_84 thank you! I haven't changed my routine over the last two weeks so I don't know why I registered gains before and now a loss. My body seems to hang on to the weight for a week or two and then there's a whoosh of loss as though it's finally releasing those previous weeks. It didn't do this the first time I lost…

@thedestar I hope you're not getting sick! It's flu season and I felt exactly like this before I got sick 3wks ago. Vitamin C and Zinc just in case. Hope you feel like yourself again soon.
-
@HappyGrape I struggle with this too! I use a number of different strategies. 1. If it's my bedtime and I'm tired enough, I just go to sleep. This works great! 2. Distract myself with a project or hobby. There is always laundry or organizing or gaming I can do! 3. Have a less unhealthy snack. I have found lots of…

@Coral333 I am found a C25K as well! I am in Week 2 of Zombies, Run! app. It's challenging but I'm getting into it!
