Naturally, a lot depends on age, health, etc. I have two kids and it took about 6 months to get pregnant for each. I had them at 31 and 34. From what I understand, it is recommended to try for about a year before a doctor would consider any type of intervention (but I could be wrong about that!) Best of luck!

However, I would be fearful of placing an aggressive weight loss goal with an additional aggressive timeline given your history with an eating disorder. Sure! Baked chicken with a salad, baked fish, steak. Usually with a side of salad. I always stick to the listed serving size for the dressing. I'm sure not everything is perfect, but I try to make it as close as possible.

At McDonalds I get the classic grilled chicken without mayo. Then I ask for a side of BBQ sauce and put half of it on the sandwich. Naturally, avoid the fries. That's the hard part. Although if you really want the fries, order a small and split them with someone. My husband and I do that sometimes when we have McD's.

Thanks! I'm actually just focused on finishing, as this is only my first one. I run about 9 minute miles now. Hoping to finish somewhere around one hour. I think that is relatively realistic. I love having a goal to keep me motivated!!!

Honestly, it depends on your pain. I did that once and it hurt just to walk. If you are in a lot of pain, you need to rest or it will only get worse and perhaps tear. Be careful. Good luck! Calf pan is NOT fun!

Thanks. I actually stayed off the scale recently (I try to only weight once a week), so I was surprised by the lower number at the dr's office. I'll stick with 140. That's about where I thought I would be. Thanks!
