I am 5'7, 200lb(female). I am planning to lose 50lbs long-term. I am eating at approx. 500cal deficit (1500-1800 cal per day depending on activity levels)

Lol duly noted

So far trial and error has been successful and I'm not too worried that I'm overeating at all but I'm trying to err on the side of caution, at least until I can get a scale. Lol I wish, no that's my motivation picture (I rotate them as desired lol)

Any fans of the Dresden Files?

Also clothing sizes are largely up to the whim of the designer - they don't necessarily have anything to do with inches.

I won't eat back more than 50% because MFP overestimates calorie burn.

Its possible that she hasn't quite mastered the site like a veteran such as yourself. No need to be rude

If I avoid letting my rebellious nature take over I can stay on track. I am working on making that stubborn, rebellious side work for me rather than against. But I do have certain 'trigger foods' that almost always cause a binge unless I just say no entirely. Chips, baked goods (especially my own) and sour candies. One…

Currently I am 200lbs (5'7, 26 yrs old, 2 kids under 5). By July I would like to lose 25lbs and long-term I'd like to lose a total of 50 (ideally by Halloween but it won't upset me if it doesn't happen that fast). I want to lose 10 inches from waist and 8 from my hips and increase muscle tone all over. I also want to…

At my fittest I could only wear a double A cup (practically in the negatives over here lol) Then I got married and put on a bit of weight (15lbs) and went up to a B cup. Then I had my boys, and the girls shot up to a D cup. Now I'm back down to a B and still have 50lbs to lose - my hopes for keeping the boobies are not…

Lead by example. Invite them to join you when you are doing something active. If you are cooking for them, make sure its healthy and that everyone gets served a sensible portion - then put the leftovers away so they can't go back for seconds. Remind them of the awesome things that you are all going to do when the weather…

Sorta failing on the "Motivation and Support" end of things aren't you?

Your period probably has a lot to do with it. In the week before your period, your hormones go nuts (pms) plus your body tries to hold onto all of its water (making you bloated and yucky-feeling) and your metabolism sky-rockets which makes you think you are dying of hunger. All of those factors can derail your weight-loss…

You need more food. Don't go under 1200 calories - at least not on a regular basis. If you have one day every couple of weeks where you just don't seem able to eat thats not a big deal but consistently starving yourself is detrimental to your health and counter-productive.
-
I didn't even bother weighing myself today - I just started my period so I know I'll be holding onto extra fluids but I don't want to see how much because it will just depress me lol

Lol  Right? Fructose is nearly unavoidable in a healthy balanced eating. Crazy fad diets that demonize a certain food group are always crap.
-
If eating more calories is challenging you should try adding a healthy fat to your diet - try making 'buttermints' with coconut oil, raw honey and a flavoring of your choice (such as peppermint). The healthy oils are excellent for your baby's development and its a very simple way to boost your caloric intake without…

26yr old mom of two. 5'7 and 200lbs, trying to lose 25 by July and a total of 50 by Halloween.

They may not. My solution is to work a late-night treat into my alloted calories. Tonight I had a fiber one brownie and I still get to have a hot chocolate

To maintain I need around 2400, and I am eating about 1500-2000 (depending on my activity level)

As a CNA I'm sure you are getting plenty of exercise just getting through your day so I can understand why you wouldn't want to do anything too strenuous - but some yoga would probably do wonders for you :) Try to fit it in just before work or after ( or both, if you like)

I always end up over my fiber goals (while still being way under my carb and sugar requirements) I add ground flaxseeds and chia seeds to as many foods as I can. I Only eat whole grain products with at least 3 grams fiber per serving. Nuts and legumes are a great source of fiber and protein (as well as healthy fats) Lots…
