  • I started keto two weeks ago but I already love it. Feel free to follow me, although I am still learning as I go but I do a lot of research and input as many recipes as I can to make it easier on myself.

  • Wow, nice job! I'm aiming for 155lbs, which will be the lowest I've been since the first time I got pregnant. I made it down to 160 between pregnancies but after my second, I haven't been able to break the 180 mark.
  • I was doing so good yesterday until evening came. I usually have my kids in bed by 9:30 and then I have my evening treat in peace and quiet then go to bed shortly after. But for some reason my kids were being extra stubborn about going to sleep and the longer they were awake the more anxious I got about wanting my damn…
  • Sounds like you are probably trying to eat too little. If you are exercising regularly then you can probably add 200-300 extra calories to your daily goal. A typical day for me is right around 1500 calories. Breakfast: Cereal w/ skim milk & an apple = 310 calories. Snack: Yogurt or almonds or fruit or granola bar or coffee…
  • 35 down, way to go!
  • That was my fighting weight many moons ago lol - I don't think I'll ever get that low again though lol
  • It hurts mainly right on the back of my heel, it feels extremely tight and sore and every step hurts. Idk maybe its heel spurs or something.
  • I like hitting the weights, its my favorite part of my workout but I try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. Lately my workouts have been 20 mins on the treadmill, 5-10 mins on the bike (recumbent and/or stationary) then I pick two or three major muscle groups (shoulders & back, legs & core, chest & arms,…
  • Started back to the gym in the last week of February, 5 days a week for at least an hour a day, plus 1500-1800cal eating plan: Lost 13 lbs so far, with another 47ish to go.
  • Every surface where I live is sheer ice or 3 feet of snow right now - in a few months though, I'll definitely do that.
  • I know, but its a plus if I ever need to outrun zombies so I'll power through lol
  • I can think of a few that I would consider "bad" but they generally involve unhealthy practices like bulimia/anorexia or being pressured to lose weight by a partner/parent/coach/friend who makes you feel worthless for being yourself. If you want to look hot in a certain outfit or feel confident naked and that is enough…

  • Pineapple does contain very strong acidic enzymes which can essentially eat away your enamel and cause painful rashes on your tongue/gums/lips. Possibly the acids are reacting with your own saliva/stomach acids and causing the icky taste?
  • Also, take note of the equipment brand names then google them when you get home - you'll probably be able to find some basic instructions on adjusting weight/height and gain a better understanding of what machine does what. If you're feeling very ambitious you can even find a training routine that utilizes the equipment…

  • I usually plan on training 30-45 minutes but always wind up going 60-90 minutes.
  • I'm turning 29 this summer, so I'm definitely pushing 30. I've gained a lot of weight over the past 7 years and really want to take it off before I hit my third decade.
  • I just used a leg press for the first time yesterday. Started at 180lbs but that was pretty easy so I'll probably add a few more plates next time.
  • My sister lives in Vancouver - hoping to visit this summer
  • That's a great goal for me to work up to  Right now though, both of my kids are way too small to keep up for even a 1k walk and my dog has a hip injury so she doesn't like walking too long either. Whenever I get the chance to go solo though I always wind up doing at least 4-6k
  • I would look into finding a therapy dog that you can visit to help you get over your (very rational) fears. Maybe a cuddly old Golden Retriever who you can visit (and even take for walks eventually) would boost your confidence levels. Start small, maybe drive (let someone else drive, that is) around your neighborhood and…
  • I want my kids to go to sleep so I can eat my doggone ice cream
  • I fish, my husband hunts. Later, when our kids need more feeding I will take my bow out for a deer every year (until then, its just for zombies lol)
  • I like both - and hemp seeds too
  • When I start losing weight my body does this thing where all the fat on my body seems to get more "loose" and stays that way for days or weeks then suddenly everything tightens up and shrinks down. That weird, flobbery stage is really annoying and discouraging but DON'T GIVE UP!
  • Highest Weight: 218 Start weight: 205 Current Weight: 189.8 Short-term Goal: 185 Final Goal Weight: 155
  • When I get a cell phone I'll keep that in mind lol
  • Lol I haven't seen it because I missed a couple episodes of the first season and I basically refuse to start part way in - I'm OCD like that - and then of course I don't have netflix and can't watch tv on my laptop so I'm basically screwed at this point. However, I DO watch American Ninja Warrior and that is another…
  • Starts with a little gurgling or clenching in my stomach, then a while later I start to get light-headed and unable to focus. If I wait even longer than that, I get this horrible ache in my throat that is really hard to describe.
