  • Happy Anniversary to Me! My husband and I are celebrating our 5:15 Anniversary--5 years married, 15 years together. That didn't stop me from getting in my morning workout but damn . . . trying to do PiYo Strength, with all the push-ups and such, after doing Upper Body Fix? Ugh. I collapsed more than a few times.…
  • You know, I think this says a lot about Beachbody and, unfortunately, not a lot that is good. Given that these coaches are representatives of their company name/brand, you would think they would be more careful about training their coaches so that something like this wouldn't happen.
  • @cupcake570 Well, given my results with 21 Day Fix, knowing that in 90 days I might lose 6 lbs and 11 inches . . . I may stick with 21DF. Faster results, LOL!
  • Oops. Hit Post Reply too early. @dkwi04 This is why intrinsic motivation and personal commitment are so important. Outside things, from the numbers on the scale to other people's negativity, can result in sidetracking our best efforts if we are not very careful.
  • And, to be fair, the OP was made before @nables73 posted her images. @dkwi04 I remember when I was working and wanted to lose weight and tone up. At first everyone was very encouraging but as soon as I started having any success, my coworkers started commenting on how I would just put the weight back on (I didn't until I…
  • @dkwi04 When I want/need to increase calories and/or eat more, I always reach for protein and vegetables first. I'd look at the next bracket up and see what you would add and go from there. Perhaps try adding only the green and red and, if you still don't see success, add a purple, then a yellow. I'm not thinking I won't…
  • I want @nables73 abs too! Not that anyone could ever actually see them under the post-multiple-birth-belly but I want them and will have them nonetheless by hook or crook! ;)
  • @nables73 So how much did you lose on the 3DQF or is your daughter still keeping it a secret? LOL! You look amazing. I mean, wow! Great progress. Are you going to start another round right away or giving another program a try?
  • @doodlebug32 Woohoo! That's awesome. And if anyone comments on your pants being loose, tell them to stop checking out your assets. ;) @dwi04 You are doing doubles, right? I reread the food guide over the weekend and I noticed something on page 76. It says that if you add on another workout (and I would think doubles…
  • @doodlebug32 Precisely. I am sitting on some potentially devastating news right now. Not Stage 4 cancer bad but bad enough. More doctor appointments and tests and we should know how bad things are by the end of the month. Does that stop me? Or my husband? Hell no! He gets up and, on the days he's not working, he pushes…
  • @doodlebug32 Awwww . . .thanks. Yes, I do work very hard and, I confess that, reading this post made me feel discouraged. Other people's negativity really affects me, and I protect myself fiercely. Life is hard and too short for negativity. I have probably removed more people from my life because I cannot carry the burden…
  • I wrote out a response to this but I deleted it. I hope you find the support you need.
  • I love my coach and she hasn't pressured me to buy any of the supplements, including Shakeology. @jpkreuger, one of our 21 Day Fixers is a great coach, too! I would encourage you to seek out a new coach because a good one will be supportive, offer suggestions for meal plans, how to improve your weight loss experience. That…
  • @michellemybelll I am so glad you shared your results! I was losing focus yesterday and overslept today. But you know what? I am about to feed the dogs and take them outside and then I'll push play. I've got this, even if I've gotten a slow start.
  • @dixiewhiskey Ironically, the less I weigh, the worse my abdomen will look. I don't have stretchmarks--I have stretch wrinkles. It's pretty bad. But I don't really care. I mean, it'd be nice if I could afford to have plastic surgery to make the excess flesh go away but I'm not sure I would be willing to go under the knife…
  • @theprettyone1010 I'm in the lowest bracket and I don't think I've ever eating under 1200 calories when I've eaten all of the containers. I know I had my doubts, when I saw the size of the containers, but I trusted the program and myself. After all, if I wasn't happy with the results in a mere three weeks, I have the…
  • Have you joined the MFP group for 21 Day Fix: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/103806-21-day-fixers We're sharing recipes and more there. No doubt, you'll find ideas and tons of support there. Great group of positive people.
  • @dixiewhiskey I don't have the Flat Abs workout, just the 10 Minutes Abs Fix one. And I haven't really used that one as often as I could, mostly because I added PiYo this during Round 2 and it just seems like I'm doing enough already, you know? So with that said, am I seeing a difference in my abs? Bear in mind, I am a…
  • Ugh! I am having a bad day physically. I woke up feeling nauseous, which is a sure sign that my vertigo is bad. Sure enough, I've been stumbling through my morning. In spite of this, I managed to do PiYo Sweat (or as much of it as I can do anyway) and Yoga Fix. PiYo continues to be a struggle for me because I simply cannot…
  • My problem with 30DS was that I never grew strong enough to do anything but Level 1. I don't know why I could do the workouts daily and not progress but I didn't even start using heavier weights while, with 21DF, I am seeing improvement, increasing my weights, etc. It could be that maybe I wasn't strong enough for 30DS at…

  • I'm 53 (just turned in April) and having some weight loss success for the first time in ages! Feel free to add me.
  • @dixiewhiskey I don't have access to a gym and have been warned off doing deep squats and heavy lifting (because of my knees) which is why I'm looking for alternative ways to really target the area. I just don't know that my shallow squats are effective enough, not given how . . . erm . . . well endowed I am, if you know…
  • Everyone, You're all doing great! Yes, even those of us who are seeing higher numbers on the scale! @wrightchoices I'm so sorry you and your little one were feeling sick and glad everyone's feeling better. Early Morning Workout Dirty 30 with my heavier weights this time around although I stayed with the lighter weights on…
  • Brazil Butt Lift Let's just say that I am well endowed so I have been curious about this program for a while. I also have bad knees and a balance disorder so I am worried that I won't be able to do it and/or keep up. I am able to get through 21DF and PiYo because I know how to modify. I'm beginning to think maybe I could…
  • @littleboopy My numbers are going up as well. I just remind myself that I may be losing inches that I cannot yet see. Yes, absolutely take measurements. And please take pictures too. They can be amazingly motivating. Okay, maybe not the Before pictures so much but the After ones will really show you your progress, even…
  • @spittman276 I am genuinely surprised that I could have any success, let alone what I consider remarkable success, doing only the modified versions of the exercises. (And sometimes I have to modify the modified version.) I think it was on today's workout that Autumn says something about focusing on what you're doing. I…
  • I love Fridays!!! Why? Because PiYo has a Rest Day on Friday so I only do one morning workout. I feel downright lazy on Fridays. Seriously, how can anyone feel lazy after doing 21DF Cardio Fix? Well, I do! Every Friday! For the past two weeks. (Week 4 of PiYo and W1:R3 of 21DF) After Cardio Fix I went ahead and did P90 Ab…
  • There's a group here for people doing 21 Day Fix and/or 21DF Extreme: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/103806-21-day-fixers People are sharing their results, recipes, and encouraging one another. Very supportive and positive. Some of us are only using the DVDs while others are only following the meal plan. No…
