  • What? Your coach doesn't . . . ugh . . . I don't know. I'm biting my tongue here. (Gotta love that she and her coach both seem to think they know more about how many Ys you should be having than all of the scientists and nutritionists beachbody has working for them designing these programs and food plans. Okay. Biting my…
  • @venuila I warned my son about PiYo Sweat, living up to its name. And I know he'll be smart enough to know that Drench is going to live up to its name too. I surprised myself today by being able to do more of the moves than I had done during round 1. So I ended the workout feeling very accomplished! (Still needed to use…
  • It is only 3 weeks. And the success you will see in your measurements, your before/after pics, and even in how you feel simply from eating healthier will be more motivating than you can realize. One of the reasons I avoided some of the other beachbody programs was my unwillingness to commit to soooo many days of one…
  • Another non-facebook user here. I have a lot of the recipes on Pinterest as well, from the two Eating Plans (21DF & 21DFX) and I find that I still prefer a hard copy. I told my husband the cookbook is available and now I'm waiting to see if our budget can handle it. Then again, if I had a choice between the cookbook and…
  • Sorry I skipped out on posting a comment yesterday because I was hanging out with my granddaughter yesterday morning. I may not have had time to write a comment here, I made time to workout. I succeeded in modifying the Phase 1 Cardio without skipping too many reps. It was hardest with the arm circles with foot kicks ended…
  • @Kfieldseth I've been looking at Slim in 6 Express as well but I've already committed to some other beachbody programs (specifically: T25, Brazil Butt Lift, Tai Cheng, Body Beast, and maybe P90, if my husband ever stops using it). Have you considered 21 Day Fix? I noticed that one of the Cize pics floating around includes…
  • We actually already have a thread all about this because, yes, sometimes some of us have to modify the modifier: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10195291/modifying-modifications#latest
  • This is the official advice from Autumn and beachbody. Measure what you eat how you eat it. If it doesn't make sense to you then measure somewhere in between--eat 1.5 greens raw and 3/4 green cooked which would probably be about the same amount in the end. Personally, when it comes to the green container in particular, I…
  • http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10134864/tracking-food#latest There is also an app for 21 Day Fix that includes counting your daily containers.
  • @lmb3171999 I don't think anyone here wasn't sore the first week. I know I was. In fact, I think I was somewhere in round 3 of 21 Day Fix when I woke up one day and realized that my muscles weren't aching. I did not wake up this morning feeling that way. LOL!
  • Sunrise Farms Country View Dairy But neither of these are organic and, frankly, I'd rather have organic than the right fat content. Have you considered making your own? It's easy to find 1% organic milk and you could make a batch, freeze some with fruit for a nice "ice cream" dessert and eat the rest as it is. Or go for…
  • @LRC1975 I have a problem with nighttime noshing as well. So I've pretty much said that I'm not allowed to eat anything solid after 6pm. We typically have dinner at 5pm so that hour leaves me a little room to decide if I'm still hungry after dinner and maybe need a little more. Otherwise, I'm cut off for the rest of the…
  • I just finished Slim in 6 on Saturday while on vacation. I missed one day of working out and did other workouts while doing it (specifically 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme). I alternated the main workout with some of the bonus workouts (Thin Thighs Guaranteed, Slim & 6-Pack, and Slim & Limber). I loved it and I know…
  • Morning Workout I had planned on grabbing my 3 lbs weights but I forgot and just grabbed the 5 lbs weights that were in the room. Definitely felt like I did well, in spite of my bad joints and my balance. I even did one of the warriors with the weights in my trembling hands. LOL! Is anyone else doubling up as described in…
  • @runningjellybean What @medeering14 said is spot on. Please read page 76 of the Food Plan where you will see that if you are trying to maintain weight and tone up, you should be eating more. Plus, if you double up exercises, as y9ou will be doing because you're training for a marathon, you should be eating more. So you…
  • On page 76 of the Eating Plan, the advice when doubling is to add an intense workout on top of 21 Day Fix (P90X and Insanity are specifically mentioned) then you want to follow the Maintenance bracket. This will add more calories/containers because your body will need extra nutrition.
  • @fitcrt I had great macros for ages and lost no weight. At all. Just give the program a try. Three weeks from now if you 1) don't lose weight and 2) don't feel stronger/better then by all means tweak the containers if you think that will help. But beachbody has a lot of scientists and nutritionists working to create and…
  • @srschaffer1 Down 4 sizes is amazing! Who needs a scale, right? @Tonya7400 I do not use Shakeology but another lower carb protein shake my husband uses. However, I prefer to eat my calories. As for all the nutrients that Shakeology offers (and I certainly can't argue that there are a lot in there), I prefer to control my…
  • @jpkrueger and @germany03 Yes, they saw it immediately! Rob insisted that I save some of my before/after pics on my phone so I could show them to my mother. She was so impressed, she tried to order the program. I watched her place the order and I even verified it with my coach. So imagine my surprise when my mother…
  • @germany03 I did wall push-ups too and not just for the second round but all of the time. Gradually, I was able to do them on the floor on my knees. @lmb3171999 If you go into the group's discussions and look at all of the discussions, you'll see one titled "Modifying the Modifiers" or something like that. I forget what it…
  • Hey Everyone! Back from my trip and scared to see what the scale says tomorrow morning. My jeans were a little loose throughout the trip so I'm not too worried. I can't possibly have eaten the way I did and not have gained some weight and that's okay. I had an amazing time. Starting Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution and…
  • @venuila & @rumijs Excellent results!!!
  • Once you get the hang of the containers, they become second nature. It doesn't happen overnight but it does eventually happen.
  • Yes and no. Have you consulted with a doctor? I have bad knees and no balance so I have to modify the modifiers (there's a thread about this, btw, in case you're curious) and it can be challenging sometimes to plan ahead so that I know what I will need to change before I begin the workout. But I have people on instagram…
  • Awesome! @LRC1975 & @Katrina2778 I am on vacation so I'm sorry I haven't been more immediate in my response. I'll be home on the 12th (which is why I plan to start on the 13th) and plan on checking in here. Accountability is helpful. I'm hoping I won' regain too much weight while on vacation (so far everything still fits!)…
  • Leaving Today Got my Slim in 6 workout in before it was too late. Showered and dressed and packed. Just want to do a little housework before I head out the door. I'll be back on the 13th! Have a great one, everyone!
  • Congratulations @noelleyaya! According to Autumn, while pregnant you want to add 300 calories to your total. Even if you are at the lowest bracket, this will bump you up to the second bracket. If you plan on nursing, you will want to add 500 calories to your total. This may bump you up to yet another bracket. You'll need…
  • The pictures says it all: https://instagram.com/p/4loN5RhB_y/ Lost 0.8 lbs and no inches? I could have done that by simply following the 21 Day Fix meal plan and having a treat meal. I could have better if I had done the 3 Day Quick Fix. Definitely not a beachbody product I would recommend. So disappointed.
  • @dkwi04 Do you have a coach with whom you can do a challenge? Maybe some new recipes would do the trick and I know the challenges typically include all kinds of recipes and such. Of course, there's also the 21 Day Fix cookbook coming out next month. Maybe you could reward yourself for all the hard work you've been doing by…
  • Thanks everyone! @germany03 Your results are GREAT! I lost over 6 lbs my first round, I think. I forget now. But my goal has always been 1 lb per week. It's a small and reasonable goal. That way I can feel really happy if I lose more than that (as I did this last time when I did 21 Day Fix Extreme). And in another 5 lbs,…
