For the most part I weight the meats raw. There are to many variables when cooking that can effect the final weight of the cooked product. Sometimes I will weigh fish or chicken cooked but that is because we would be cooking a bunch up and I don't know which will be mine till it is time to serve. As others have said if…

LMAO, have you even read the whole thread. You are only reading into this thread what you want, not what is actually there. From the very start there has been men involved with the conversation. I came to the thread when it was about on page 6 or 7 and saved my comment till I read the whole thing. Again, OP asked people's…

Go back and read the original post. The poster was female but she said she wants peoples opinions of woman not shaving. People are men and women. She did not limit the discussion to female opinions only. So men's opinion of the women's body was part of the discussion from the start with an invite from the original poster.

Pot meet Kettle!! Am I picking on someone?? Oh, that's right, it is for you and your friends to keep "hammering" someone about their opinion but do not turn the table?

^^^^This^^^^^ +1 I deal with this kind of attitude with a niece of mine. I love her to pieces but she does think she and people like her are enlightened and we are the intolerant ones. They think we are judgmental and trying to stereotype. From where I sit they are. They are the ones that cannot let people have their…

Nope, you didn't win. You proved her point and one I was going to post as well but decided she was doing a great job.

You worry way to much. I wish, when I was your age, that I knew what I knew now. Stop your worrying and enjoy the journey. [img][/img]

No studies on Stevia that I am aware of. It is all natural though. It is a plant that has been used as a sweetener for generations. I use this as my sweetener of choice. I however do not have an issue with other sweeteners either. Love me some artificial sweetened Coke Cherry Zero. Yummeeee!!!! Especially with some Bacardi…

What you just wrote there is why fasting would probably not work for you. You are more about endurance workouts which weightlifting/ bodybuilding and running for weight loss is not. So, yes, you have to fuel your body differently. However, if you were not doing those endurance workouts, then it would be different. I…

I agree with you except for this point, obviously based on OP original post, the weight loss is not meeting her expectations. Why is it that IIFYM is the first answer for everything for some people? That will not work either if she is not measuring and entering her intake properly. It does not matter what diet you do, your…

It is all about choices and priorities. I choose to get up at 4:30 AM so I can get to the gym 4 days a week to lift. I try and do the same for at least 2 other days for some cardio, but that is not a priority so I do not always make it.

Toning = Weight loss. As you lose the fat from around muscle it becomes more visible underneath the skin. Toning has nothing to do with exercise. You become tone as you get less body fat.
-
thanks. I will do that. I must have missed that one.

GOOD!!! /end thread

+1 on this.

Nope!! Just Kim doing something outrageous to be in the spotlight again. Personally, I wish most of that family would just retire to a remote island and we would never hear from them again. They can take Kanye with them too!! Agree with other posters. Why would this about race?
-
Not gonna bother. If I do, I will see the total calories and feel bad so I am just going to start the day knowing I won't be logging that day and enjoy it. I may make the day before a really light day, but other than that no other prep.
-
LMAO!!! OP, do not listen to this poster. If you are wanting to lose weight, then eat what you want when you want as long as you remain in a deficit. Your body does not operate on a clock like MFP does.
-
Why?? Just because you do not understand it? 5:2 is a legitimate form of Intermittent Fasting. There is 16:8 which is Leangains that gives you an 8 hour window each day to eat your calories. There is also 20:4 which is the Warrior Diet, that only gives you a 4 hour window each day to eat your calories. There are also some…

OH yummy!! Can drink that straight outta the bottle :-)
-
Why can't you wait till dinner? If you are that hungry then maybe you need to be fueling some before your workout.
-
I have been doing 16:8 for 3 weeks now, and I am down 13 lbs. I was pleasantly surprised that I am not missing the AM breakfast. Every once in awhile it will cross my mind but it isn't because I am actually hungry, it is in my head. I think some people that want to try this really need to give it 30 days before they give…

This^^^^^ which I recommend you do. Gain some weight and when you get to a comfortable amount of calories a day that maintains, then do a slow cut. This is exactly why everyone says take your time with weight loss.
-
Umm, no that is not how it works. On your normal intake days you are supposed to be eating at or near maintenance. the idea for weight loss with the 5:2 IF is that you are at a deficit over 7 days. That is way to few calories for anyone.

Really?? I don't see carnivores/omnivores coming into threads having to announce they are vegan. Why not just answer a question and move on, instead I see a lot of vegans/vegetarians having to make sure and insert in their answers that they are vegan when the post has absolutely nothing to do with that. I see it all the…

Just seen that you are only 25. Unless you have a family medical history of heart related issues, I really do not think you have anything to worry about. Also, if your doctor thought you needed more tests he would do them. As far as he/she is concerned you are not giving them any symptoms to warrant any more tests. Don't…

My resting heart rate is between 48-52 and heavy lifting will always spikes my heart rate. Especially during compound lifts like bench press, squats, and dead lift's. I do not worry about it. I am 45 and my doctor says I am healthy.
-
I said I would report back after two weeks of real food in moderation, at a deficit. Down 12 lbs. Only shakes were shakes to reach my protein levels, or just as a treat. I discovered Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup and it stepped up my chocolate protein shakes to a whole new level of yum.
