My suggestion, don't even worry about it. Me personally, Thanksgiving is going to be an off day. The only way one day can hurt your progress is if you let it turn into several days.

This will not end well. In fact it might just get deleted. But I am in for the entertainment. I will add though, the only way a plan like this would not be frowned upon is if it was under doctor supervision, but even then, you are not that much over weight.

My point is, you are over complicating the issue Gale. STOP!!!!!!! Because of people like you there are crazy fads and supplements that don't do squat but people try them because you talk all this nonsense. Lets go through the basics first. Then if weight loss is not working we can look at other options. Problem is, no one…

Really?? I used to drink lots of raw milk. I was raised in the country and we often had access to it and it was usually free from the bulk tank :D Then for a few years I worked on a dairy farm and that was how we got our milk as well. Free from the bulk tank. As long as it was cold, I didn't care.

WTH?? Carbohydrates, Protein and Fat all have a caloric value. Separately or together they can be stored in the fat cells. Neither one on its own is going to contribute more to fat gain. Once they are broke down through the digestion process they are no longer carbohydrates, fat or protein. Fat is gained when you eat more…

My question for you, are you losing weight? If so, /end thread If not, head on over to the thread below. community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/833026/important-posts-to-read/p1

I just started skipping breakfast and so far, no side affects. Granted, I know that is not for everyone and didn't think it would work for me, but have tried and I think I am going to stick with it.

Ok, learned a lesson. Thanks Niner. I went back to a couple of the popular videos and if you are not paying attention, it looks like they are holding all the way through, they are not. I did some more research and discovered you are supposed to do a controlled exhale on the way up out of a squat. I was noticing that I was…

^^^This^^^^ Any training video I have watched, especially with the squat, has them holding the breathe till the rep is complete. This is to help keep the core tight during the lift.

What is not to like? Everything is tasty and you have choices!!! I can't remember, but I do not think they have jalapeno's as an extra topping. If they did, it would be the perfect place for me. I love me some jalapeno's.

I will add, that I have had the zucchini crust and I love it. Before I go any further, I will add, I eat regular pizza but we sometimes look for different options. I am so glad we do, because like I said, we actually really like the zucchini crust. It is kind of a pain to make, but I think worth it. On the other hand, we…

Hmm, I do not understand that link. The author apparently doesn't understand what they are writing about. With strength training comes increased muscle mass. Yes, I know not immediately, but as you max out the strength you can have with existing muscle, your muscles will increase in size to accommodate the increased weight…

+1, also book marking for future reference point because I am sure this discussion will come up again.

In to see where this goes. I am thinking of getting a road bike in the spring and everyone that bikes says I need switch to clipped pedals when I do that.

I don't know what other people have written since this, but there was a point in my life I felt the same way. Then I started not giving a crap because I was there for me, not to get their approval. Then you know what I learned, they really didn't care and it was all in my head.

Lunch: 600-800 Supper 700-900 Snacks: 500-900 Doing IF and do not have first meal till after 12PM and I am done eating by 8PM. Trying to get in 2200 calories a day, but am still adapting to this new way of eating so I am having trouble getting clear of 2,000 calories a day.

LoL, I am the exact opposite. Running is boring, but I am loving strength training. The heavier the better B) I used to enjoy running till I started having hip problems. Then I found strength training. I do some running but am now focusing more on HIIT instead of the long steady state cardio.

I agree with all the other posters. I will add, I was having shoulder issues that effected how much I could lift. I learned I wasn't warming up enough. As I started doing proper warm ups, my shoulders got better and I was eventually lifting more weight.

I started doing IF two weeks ago, 16:8, and I am loving it. I am having a much easier time controlling my intake. I still am having some issues with the fast in the AM, but that is in my head, not my actual physical appetite. In my research though, that should start letting up in the next week or so as my mind readjusts to…

When I focus on water, I just pee more. I don't have the link anymore, but I found an article awhile back from The Mayo Clinic and to sum it up, it pretty much said, it is a myth. Drink enough liquid to keep your urine a pale yellow. Notice how I bolded liquid? They specifically stated it does not have to be water because…

I 100% agree!! The advice in that thread though was that he eat at maintenance or higher and focus on lifting. He fought back on that as well. He needs to lose all his weight right now!!!
-
Oh, that was a whole thread last week. Doesn't look like he is taking any advice from that thread either.

I am too following Lean gains. Below is a quote from Martin's site. I would think if you can have a splash of milk in your coffee the 8 calories in a serving of an energy drink is not going to break your fast. No calories are to be ingested during the fasted phase, though coffee, calorie free sweeteners, diet soda and…

Sorry, enough already. This is typical teenager attitude. I know, because I have two of them. You do not know everything. Some of us on here have been doing this for longer than you have been alive and in some cases double the number of years you have been alive. So get over yourself. Everyone is trying to help you but you…
-
You have to readjust yourself. It will suggest you might want to recalculate. That is up to you though. If you are still maintaining or losing then I would say leave it alone if that is what you want.

2lbs a week is the thresh hold for an obese person. You sir, are not obese. If you actually dig a little deeper the max weight loss recommended per week is 1% of current body weight, but that again is if you are obese. You should not be losing more than 1/2 lbs per week.

If I am ever in the mood to get pi$$ed off I will watch this. I caught part of it at someones house and I had to bite my tongue and walk away. Why do I want to watch a film that is edited specifically to be one sided?
