Me too. Now I have to go back and catch up!!

Went off track for my anniversary dinner... big time. I was ok with that, since 28 years should be rewarded, but on Sunday I could not get it back. So, off track for two days. Up 2 pounds. Ick. Doing better today.

Oh!!!! Ok! Thank you for pointing it out. Now, maybe I can move on. :)

I should let this go, but isn't "your" correct?? It was saying "your thighs". You're is a contraction for "you are". I think the whole thing is correct.

Thank you!! I had the same thought, but I figured I was the only one that would get it.

Just had a new thought on this today. For the necklaces that are somewhat adjustable, I used to wear every single necklace at the very last hole in the chain. Now, some of them are hanging way too low, so I have to adjust them so they are shorter! Kind of nice to have choices!

This totally made me laugh/snort!!! Funny!

Love the sock confessions. I'm in that group. I just cleaned out my sock drawer last weekend and was amazed at how many I have. I also have about 30 pairs of pantyhose. I haven't been wearing dresses for years, and now I don't know if anyone even wears pantyhose anymore. So..... I kept them. Moved them to a different…

Wow, what a great idea!!

Oh yes, those donuts are so good!!! I can see that happening... easily!!

Oh, good one!!! I've thought that too! It's a simple thing, but it gave me so much pleasure when I realized it was ok to be in the smaller ones again.

Mine is horse related. I've had the same horse for many years. I knew that it would be so much easier getting up in the saddle and that I wouldn't need a "boost" from behind if I lost a bunch of weight. What I didn't expect is how uncomfortable it is to ride for a long time. No more cushion on the saddle! I seriously am…

Don't rely on motivation, and don't give yourself an option to quit. It isn't optional to record your calories, it isn't optional to stay within your calorie range, it isn't optional to go to the gym. You just have to do it. One of my favorite sayings: Motivation only gets you to the start, dedication is what takes you to…

Impressive! What a great feeling for you, and a great payoff for all of your hard work!

Good idea to look back in a good way! Or even to look back and regroup, if it wasn't a great year. Last year at this time, I was 60 pounds heavier, had no energy, and feeling very sad. I told myself that I had to make a commitment for one year, with no excuses, to see what I could do. I am looking forward to another year…

I made a commitment to lose weight. I told myself that I had to give it a solid year of good effort, no excuses, and see what I could do to become healthier. I lost 60 pounds! I was able to keep up with my husband for our hunting trip in October. I work out 6 days a week and I LOVE it! And I'm eating healthy for the first…

I want to keep doing what I did in 2014 for weight loss and fitness. I still have a ways to go, so keep plugging along! But there are two goals for 2015 that I want to shoot for. 1. Run a 5K this spring. (never have run a race before) 2. Ride the new zip line at the Royal Gorge Bridge, in Colorado. I worked there as a…

So impressed! What a commitment you made!

Well said!

Oh my gosh. I didn't even think about updating that. I guess I better start.

I don't know why, but this just struck me as one of the most supportive and encouraging things you could say! Impressive!

Commitment and dedication! I love this post!!! Congratulations on perseverance and seeing the success that comes from it.

What has worked for me this year, 64 pounds gone... I don't give myself the option of working out/not working out, or staying on plan/not staying on plan. Working out is just part of the day, just like brushing my teeth. I get up and go. Admittedly, there have been some days that I just didn't go. Ok. Then, the next day…

This is gold. Yep, he shouldn't say what he's been saying. But you have to stand up to him every time. Who cares if he thinks your blowing it out of proportion? Help yourself in this, but don't allow his comments to derail your efforts. Do NOT let him be your excuse to not take care of yourself!

Just take it one day at a time! And remember.... You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!

First of all, let me say that I love your wedding dress! How beautiful you are in that picture! Now, let me also say that you have made amazing progress! Good for you! I know what you mean about the negative voices in your head. I have some of those, too. But glad you knew to look at the progress you have made! You should…

Thanks for posting!! I'm so inspired!!! I'm glad that you mentioned that it bothers you when people worry so much about loose skin. I've felt the same way. I'll take loose skin just to be healthier. I'd so much rather have the skin than all of the weight/fat. You're awesome and I so much appreciate your words!

I just keep thinking that if you were a drag queen, transgender, or whatever else they called you, how could they say "it" walks like a man... blah, blah, blah. No one deserves that kind of treatment. And what kind of person feels like they have the authority to judge anyone like that? What horrible little men. Keep your…
