I went on this after my 4th child at a healthy weight, gained 3 stone, a spare tyre, and lost all my hair. After I stopped it my hair grew back and I lost a stone really quickly, but sadly never lost the spare tyre. 2 more children later and it's now almost disappeared, but it's taken a long time.

I bought a pair of genuine ugg boots that looked brand new for £2, when I looked them up they cost £300. Omg, people pay that much for boots, lol.

cheers guys, you helped me loads, I know what to look for now.

I'm pretty much at goal weight, I mainly need to lower my bf%.

sneak up behind you when you're on all fours and end up with your foot in their face. eat ALL the fruit in the house. throw the stones out of the fireplace while you're trying to do jumping jacks. Steal your water bottle when you're not looking. Grab the remote and change channel while you're doing your dvd workout. sneak…

I'm on day 41 and I have bursitis in both my knees. The trick is learning to land softly so you don't pound your feet on the ground, if you can do that then you won't aggravate your knees. There are certain moves that don't involve jumping that I can't do because it hurts my knees, so I just modify. So far I haven't had…

Get yourself an electronic cigarette, best thing I ever did. Once I get my body where I want it, then I'll work on quitting the e-cig, but in the meantime it's better for me.

yay go you, be proud, be happy, be healthy, well done.

That's a good loss, an average of 1lb a week is a good start and as your son is still only 11 weeks then you're routine will keep changing as his demands do which makes it hard to stay consistent when breastfeeding. Give it a bit longer and your loss may increase, make sure you are drinking lots of water too.

unfortunately there are no special exercises, all you can do is lose the weight, as that goes down so will the belly, exercise just helps to burn more calories. Stuff like sit ups etc are just to help tone the muscle that is hiding under the fat, so once the fat starts to disappear it will be firmer. It takes patience and…

type breastfeeding into food database there are loads of entries, it deducts the calories from what you've already eaten that day. Check my diary for an example, I only deduct 200 cos my daughter is almost 2 and usually just has a feed before bed.

Spend an entire evening watching youtube videos of people lifting then just head to the gym, that's what I did. When it was quiet I got the guy who's working there just to check I was doing stuff right. Once you've been a few times and know what you're doing it's not intimidating at all.

I love roasted kale with soy sauce, tastes just like crispy seaweed.

Haven't read all the comments, but just wanted to add you are gorgeous hun, be proud, and you are better off without that idiot in your life, any improvements you make now are for yourself, nobody else.

Can't comment on the extra skin, but just want to say stretch marks will fade so you can barely see them. All mine have faded now from pregnancy so that you can barely see them, and my youngest is only 23 months. My eldest daughter also has stretch marks and she's never been bigger than a size 8, she's got them cos she…

5"3 138lbs and size 12 bottoms 10 tops. But I have large hips, my 12's are extremely loose around the waist, more like a 10, I can get them on without undoing the button and zip, but I can't get a 10 over my hips, extremely frustrating as no trousers fit properly. Gutted the summer has ended cos I was living in dresses.

type breastfeeding under foods in mfp and it comes up, there's loads of different ones, it then takes those calories off what you've already eaten, just make another entry in your diary for nursing. If you're confused by how I've explained then look at my diary, it's open. I only deduct 200 as my daughter is almost 2 and…

I always go by hrm readings, the machine sometimes has me at over 200bmp while my hrm has me at around 160, big difference. I've just ordered an ft4 cos it's better than the one I'm using now, and yes it tells you calories burned.

I always use the highest incline and fast walking speed because I have bad knees. I also always hold on, I am however totally upright not leaning back, the only reason I hold on is because sometimes my knees just give out and go from under me, when this happens I'd much prefer to holding onto something, don't have a death…

You don't need to be able to dance, it's not really dancing, it's more like high impact aerobics with a few dance moves thrown in, but easy stuff to pick up.

I'm on day 25, feel free to add me, having a love/hate relationship with insanity, lol.

Not a new mummy, an old mummy, lol, but feel free to add me, my youngest is almost 2.

In the long term a mix of cardio, and weights will help, if it's more toning and firming then more weights than cardio and make sure you get enough protein. In the short term while you're doing this, good fitting underwear and clothes. If you wear clothes that are too tight you will gain love handles. I have plenty left to…

5"3 sw 156 lbs size 14-16 cw 137 lbs size 10-12 my waist would fit in a 10 but my baby belly after 6 kids won't, so I spend all day pulling up my trousers lol.

So even though it's been a consistent loss it still may not be accurate?
-
I've been weighing on bf scale every morning at the same time and it's been consistently going down gradually over the past couple of weeks.
-
I've been measuring, I have lost quite a lot of inches since I started using mfp, but not since I started insanity 3 weeks ago, not enough to note anyway. Yet my jeans feel looser round the waist. It's harder to measure my stomach and waist accurately due to day to day bloating, so I won't really notice a difference until…

If you really enjoy the sweaty burn cardio gives you but want to include weights then try kettlebells. 10 minutes of fast squating while swinging a kettlebell through the legs gets me sweaty as hell and I don't feel at all sore lie I do with normal weights this is my favourite kettlebell move.…

I don't think you need to bin it off. Take time to heal, then figure out which moves are hurting your knees, then just modify those moves or miss them altogether and do something different in place. You also need to make sure you are landing soft. I do it barefoot on carpet and I have bursitis in both my knees and it…

Hi, I'm 39 5"3 and 137-140lbs. I'm still feeding baby number 6 who is almost 2 and I'm on 1700 calories, she only has 1-2 feeds a day now and exercise calories are already included in my calorie goal. Feel free to add me.
