The only thing about Armageddon that made me cry was that I felt sorry for myself having to watch it.

How can you only have ONE? I'm not sure I can pick my favourite from this MONTH, let alone all time. If I was forced to pick only one to watch for the rest of time, though... Rocky Horror Picture Show, because then I could SING...

This. Also, I'm counting this post as water.

I've thought about this before... "Man, what if someone calls me fat still?" I think I'd laugh at them, because if they think THIS is fat, they should have seen me 5 months ago.

Get off the wagon? Um... I don't know what you're doing, but I'm pulling the wagon, not riding on it.

Looked up more on the psychologist (?) on the Science Friday bit... She made rats fatter by feeding them sucralose instead of glucose. That's interesting, but rats are notoriously bad at tracking their calorie intake on MFP... http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2012/02/artificial-sweeteners/

Please. Your original post said "Science Friday" which I wasn't aware was a podcast. Even if I had known it was a podcast, which episode of the possibly hundreds of Science Friday episodes would have this tidbit. You may as well have said "I read a story in the New York Times that said soda is bad!" and then told me how to…

Maybe she just wants a reason to visit...

It's stealing the "chicken of the vegetarian's world" crown from soy...

All weightloss pills and potions and creams only work under one condition - that you eat a caloric deficit and/or exercise. Caloric deficit and/or exercise works equally well on its own. If there were a successful miracle pill, we wouldn't be fat.

You and your science can't trump what I just KNOW! Seriously, some fantastic links. Especially the caffeine one. I've long suspected the diuretic effect was largely imagined.

Rubber is seriously bizarre - but one of my recent favorites. The Audience killed me.

I'm mostly donating anything that's still in usable condition, or turning t-shirts into rags if they're not usable. I do have a handful of t-shirts that I plan to trim down (band t-shirts, other one-of-a-kind t-shirts). I've also opted to have some dress clothes tailored down in stages. However, anything that's cheaper to…

I've never looked at a wood chipper the same way since Fargo, donchaknow?

I just re-watched this in a series of dystopian future films; The Mad Max trilogy and Water World. I'd intended to re-watch Tank Girl and A Boy and His Dog to round things out, but haven't got to them yet. Water World gets a pretty ban rep... I enjoyed aspects of it, but it could have been edited down a bit. Sure, the…

Nobody in their right mind has seen it? :D

I knew going in that it was a film starring Sarah Polley, so my expectations were already extremely low. I was STILL disappointed.

Disappointing lack of Adam Sandler and Wil Ferrell films on the list so far...

It got WAY better after the head in the street...

Where "--" is "AWESOME" I assume?

I try not to judge movies I've never seen, books I haven't read, and places I haven't been... Human Centipede 2 was more graphic.

That's always been one of my secret fears - that someone would "catch me" in a shop that doesn't make my size. Then again, why I'd be in an Abercrombie & Fitch is beyond me...
