And I like your green hair. You look like a mermaid. :)

23bmi National - Below average You have a lower BMI than 87% of males aged 30-44 in your country Global - Below average You have a lower BMI than 59% of males aged 30-44 in the world If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 7,484,288 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population. You're…

The difference is that the laws you use as examples prohibit activities that hurt OTHER people. You can drink legally, but you can't drink and drive because you could kill someone else with your car. You can't stab someone else in the neck or rape them because it hurts or kills THEM. You can't steal shoes, because it's a…

Don't know about the stud part, but I'm 42 and more into fitness than ever. Plenty of work left to do!

I like the Premier Nutrition chocolate ready-to-drink. Each one is 160 Calories and 30g Protein, and you don't have to mix anything up so it's very portable. About $25 for a case of 18 at Costco.

Add me if you like, I like to trail run and do obstacle races. I've also been to Rio a couple years ago if you need any tips. :)

Just failed my first 5x5 on the overhead press at 95 lbs. 5-4-2-2-1. Now the tracking gets a little more complicated!
-
Why not get them now? They will HELP you get to your goal weight! :)
-
And from what I can tell, you DO look damn good!

It's cool to hear a story backed up by blood work. I've been thinking about leaning that direction, but there are just so many things I like that are processed and/or have grains in them! I'll have to take baby steps.

That's awesome, because most places charge me extra for a side of rat poo!

Never had PF but I was get bad IT Band Syndrome when trail running in normal shoes. Especially downhill. I switched to NB Minimus trail shoes (MT10) and they eliminated the problem. Since I have also switched to NB Minimus Road shoes (MR00) for my road runs. Haven't had any IT band issues at all. So it might be worth a try…

I think you handled it politely. But people who live in apartments need to realize that a certain amount of noise is going to come with it. If they can't stand hearing other people, then they need to move to a house in the country.

I'm guessing she meant the portion sizes should be more "realistic", rather than more "accurate". Because who the hell eats only 3/4 cup of cereal? Or half of an individual sized pizza, etc? I think they make the portions small so the food looks lower in Calories at first glance.

I have backed off on my distance because of the heat and I've been running at night so I just run my neighborhood instead of my desert trails. I have been doing right around 5k 2 or 3 nights a week lately and then 5x5 on MWF.

I don't mean a random test at a gym, I mean actual standardized fitness testing (e.g. Cooper Institute). In recent years they have moved to full body pushups for women in public safety, but in the past it's been knee pushups for women.
-
I think it's because traditionally in fitness testing (schools, public safety, military, etc) females have been allowed to do knee pushups in lieu of full pushups, while their male counterparts were only allowed to do full pushups. So I guess it makes sense that the term "girl pushups" was coined because females were the…

I often run on my off days. Haven't had any issues, but I'm still pretty new to SL5x5 and the weights aren't high enough yet on the leg-centric exercises for me to have noticed a difference. I want to be well-rounded so I do plan to do other things as well as SL5x5.

Keep Calories in the back of your mind, but have fun and enjoy all the food and drink. A few days isn't going to hurt even if you gain a pound. Just make sure you get back to your good habits when you return. In short, I think #3.

None here. Don't want any identifying marks for when I become an assassin.

I don't drink any more. Or any less for that matter. ;) I rarely drink a lot, but when I do I try to stop at that sweet spot where I have a good buzz going but I won't feel sick in half an hour.
-
I've never understood that. 1200 Calories is nothing. Maybe try nuts. Lots of protein, good fats, and a couple handfuls of 'em is easily over 300 Calories.

Totally fun! I did Rugged Maniac AZ last year. Doing it again this year. Also did Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder. Mud n Guts and Devil Dash coming up this fall followed by a Spartan Race in Feb. Good times!

That's great. My daughter is only 6 days old, but hopefully I can encourage her to get and stay active as she gets older.

A good basic program is Stronglifts 5x5 at stronglifts.com. It incorporates the main compound lifts of squat, bench press, overhead press, barbell row, and deadlift. You do need access to an olympic weight set and a power cage (or spotters). Someone else said "Starting Strength" which is a similar program but I think it…

Make sure you are honest and accurate with your Calories. Weigh your food if you have to. If you burn more than you eat, you'll lose weight.

I gather that you can also adjust the time you run by the length of the songs on your playlist. Since the story occurs between songs, the shorter your songs the shorter your runs and vice versa.
-
I'm already singed up for the 1pm wave!

Just did the first mission and had a good time. Took me over 3.7 miles. It seems maybe the longer the songs are on your playlist, the longer your run will be since the narrative happens between songs. I was chased 3 times and got caught the first two times. I wonder what others' experience is on getting caught. Do you…
