One of my people!

I will be on w6d1 tomorrow! I have been running 7 days per week since the beginning of the program. On the off days I do free runs with Nike+ just to stay motivated and disciplined. I am up to 2 1/2 miles now (big deal for me!) I do 30 day shred and am looking into a weigh lighting lesson at the Y for heavy lifting.…

I would do it again, but I have OCD.

I am so deeply confused, I don't know what to do anymore.

Just babywear!

Ok, I did it, I added a fake day. My BMR is 1126, for reference. 5,316

I am planning on using Smart Coach ( http://smartcoach.runnersworld.com/smartcoach/new_plan.jsp ) And putting the workouts in to Nike + each day for motivation. I think you can adjust it to say you would like to work on speed.

The dreaded W5D3—Bam! It felt really good to achieve a goal, it feels like a huge milestone in C25K. I am amazed at how the body changes.

iPhone is fab.

Hey shorties! I'm 5' and 124 right now, I would like to drop another 10. I find it difficult reading all the "eat more than 1200 calories" posts, since we obviously do not fit the average. I am also just now facing the reality that I will always have to eat around 1200 just to maintain, at this height. Happy to have found…

Good riddance to mine!

I am so sorry for your losses, that is incredibly difficult. I am (was?) a binge eater myself and the only thing that keeps me in control is to cut out added sugar completely. I am like an alcoholic, I cannot even have just a little bit. I started by eliminating the honey in my tea I was having every morning. I realised…

So true, I have been so scared of w5d3 I have done it twice for practice before I am even on that day. The real deal is tomorrow and I am still scared.

iPhone, NIke + running app, & the cheapie Panasonics here as well (mine are pink). I love the Nike + app because it keeps me accountable, and it logs all my runs so I can look back and see my progress. The earbuds because they are the first to stay in and don't have me running with my hands over my ears to keep the iPhone…

Workout gear for sure, it has the dual purpose of reward and motivation, it is not a means to an end, but a little encouragement along the way. I would feel guilty not to use the new gear, and I enjoy looking more pulled together.

Cool, let me know how it goes!

Hey, I'm a shorty too. I think while a taller person obviously has a longer stride, a short person can quicken her pace to take twice as many strides to keep up with the taller person. I think there is no reason why you (and I) cannot run faster even with our lack of length.

I was rolling out of bed and hitting the streets to run, but now I am doing 30 day shred beforehand and it has made an incredible difference. I'm warmed up and my running is improved and I have more energy. I doing a longer stretch sequence than Jillian does at the end in order to prepare for my run. I also stretch a…

Josiebum, the C25K Cool Running app sounds like what you need, a charming voice comes on to tell you when to "start running" and "begin walking". You can run Nike + in the background, and access your music as well. I am on w5d2. Two weeks ago I couldn't run get through week 3, 3 minutes of running was impossible. Now I can…

I have the same, I hear it when I walk down the stairs and as I do squats. It's very disturbing and so distracting I turn up the music to drown out the cracking while I finish my squats.

Good morning! Cold and rainy, trying to get motivated for my run. Enjoy your day.

As a beginner (C25K w5d1) I find your stories very inspirational, thank you. I'm 38 and have never been a runner. I too am amazed at what the body can do. A few weeks ago I couldn't run for three minutes, now I can rule a mile (yes, I realize how pathetic that sounds). I hope in a years time to have a motivational story to…

What type of gear are you into? Fashion? Conservative? Trendy? Are there certain brands you avoid for political reasons?
-
What is your BMR? Everyone is different, I need to be under 1200 to be at a deficit (without exercise).

I fear I am going to show up in this thread.

Cotton nursing pads from Under the Nile will save the day. http://www.underthenile.com/underthenile/itemDetailBR132.htm

Psyched for you! Good luck.

I have an Armpocket for my iPhone. It is pretty rad. http://www.armpocket.com

Do we have to do them all at once? Or does it count to do 50 in the morning and 50 in the evening? Or even after a rest?

Inspirational, thank you! And way to go. I am on w4d3 and ready for more. It is hard to believe I might be a runner. Who knew?
