Congrats on your progress!

No advice, but good luck! You can do it.

In addition to the above, strength etc, it is essential to find your Drishti, your point of focus as you balance.

And babywearing to boot! Fantastic.

Gorgeous textiles.

True, this is an interesting article addressing running and appetite. http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/05/29/is-it-better-to-walk-or-run/?_r=0

Hey, how is is going? I did Bikram five days a week a few years ago and just recently started up again. I remember why I loved it so much. I enjoy the challenge, I love seeing small improvements, and I am also amazed at what I cannot do (yet). What are your favorites and least favorites?

I awake an hour earlier than I plan to run and have a bar and tea with milk, then I catch up on work while I digest before my run. It is nice to be up with the sun and my runs have improved tremendously since I started eating beforehand.

Bikram is Hatha yoga done in a warm climate or heated room, always the same 26 postures. It is incredible. "Hot Yoga" that I have seen is power yoga or very aerobic yoga in a hot room. I would focus on what type of practice you are looking for. Do you like flow? Do you like inversions? Do you like focusing on form? Once…

Week 3 and week 7

This is how I am doing the program, I feel like if I take a rest day I will never run again. I am too scared to stop! I do a c25k day, next day a free run, c25k day, repeat c25k day if I couldn't do it the first time, free run, etc. I am on week 7 now and it is tough, so I am repeating every other day with a fast mile on…

Some men don't like women. (I actually see a lot more of that here)

Yes, it is so interesting that easy is hard and hard is easy (at least until it is not). You have both put me at ease and I will go with it, mix it up with sprints and such. It will be fun to one day run at a comfortable pace for a bit of distance. There is always something to look forward to with running.

The elliptical totally counts. :D All is well here as far as the streak, but I am stuck on w7d1 of C25K. It's good to have two separate goals so when I don't meet one I have another. ;)
-
You guys are doing so well! I am stuck on w7d1, second try today and I'm stopping at 2.40. Argh! Just have to push through that last bit. Tomorrow is another day.

She is a goddess.

Good luck to you both! Let us know how it went :D

Life changing. Now I want to run, I look forward to it, I never regret it. Enjoy!

This morning I competed w6d3 and I cannot believe it! But I can never believe it, it is like someone else is making these (albeit small) achievements, it is so unlike me. I ran for 2.25 miles without stopping and with my best time. This was preceded by an awful week of lack of motivation, so it is a real breakthrough in…

Sometimes the lure of my new kicks and my cute crops are all that get me up in the morning.
-
This is so very true. Yesterday I had the worst run since I have felt like a runner, and today was my best run ever. Keep on keeping on.
-
This made me cry. You are a wonderful person.

Buh-bye cable. We don't have it—it can be done!

Awesome! "Faster than everyone sitting on the couch" love it. Tell us what's next! :)

I'm in New England as well (love it), I try to get out before 7am to avoid the strongest sun I know what you mean. Summer is so brief and fleeting though I have to enjoy every minute to get me through the snowy months.

Yes, I thought I'd keep it here or as a personal motivation. :)
