I actually hate it when a man steps in to white knight for me...cause I can handle my own. But if it looks like someone is struggling and needs help, I will help.

There's this hot pepper and olive relish that I love. You can make it lower calorie by cutting the olive oil way back. I usually add more water and vinegar to adjust mine... 2 garlic cloves 1 green chile 1 red chile 1/3 cup coarsely chopped cilantro leaves from 8 sprigs of mint, torn 1/3 cup pitted green olives, coarsely…

True - maybe you can ask a mod to move the thread?

I dont know that I can be of any help here, but a friend of mine is really happy working with Renaissance Periodization. They have specific templates for physique and offer a lot of consultation for the right kind of meals and lifts. I can put you in touch with him (he's on here) or you can check out…

I color my own. I buy Joico Vero Color developer and Joico KPaks color from sleekhair.com Mine is not highlighted and is a simple all over color that is very close to my natural color. I would not advise attempting anything more advanced, unless you have lots of practice or can live with your mistakes. ETA: I use 20 volume…

I dont *struggle* but I would greatly prefer not having certain things in the house that he REQUIRES. I have decent willpower but would prefer to not have to face all the cookies and ice cream.

I don't buy these beverages, so I can't speak to it influencing my habits. I will say, however, that I think incentives work better than penalties when it comes to things like this. I am also encouraged by the fact that soda consumption is in decline and we are moving to healthier options as a nation.

I'm roughly in the same boat as you. I was around 130, wanted to get to 120. I'm 34 and 5' 4" I think if you stick at 1200 you'll be ok. I would just say that if you're doing a lot of intense cardio, don't cut your carbs too short. Your performance will suffer and you'll feel terrible. I've noticed that at 1200 I have to…

So...You have a 7000 kcal deficit per week?

Right? Im never even home by 6pm and and I cannot imagine not eating from 6pm til I sleep at 1130pm and am up again at 7am.

Per minute, yes. Per mile, no. It's a bigger calorie burn but it is not a 2x burn.

That's what I would actually try. Like others, I think you can benefit from getting more accurate with your food logging (weigh stuff, mainly). But I also think your BMR is probably way overestimated. At 230, what does maintenance look like for you? I bet it's really high compared to smaller women. For example, maintenance…

More than twice? No. No it does not. https://www.runnersworld.com/peak-performance/running-v-walking-how-many-calories-will-you-burn Not per distance. Maybe per minute.

We have a UNISEX shower facility at work (single shower, simple towel rack and a sink) and there is a dude that would do that daily. He eventually had a mountain of sweaty laundry on the floor. What is wrong with people?

What kind of world does someone have to live in to think that the ONLY reason someone is near them is because they're interested? That's just such a weird view point to me.

Have you ever tried taking Lactaid?

I think protein shakes are a great way to get protein in. I don't see any issues with added 20-30 grams to what you're currently eating, and a protein shake would do just that. I buy unflavored whey and unflavored casein. I make my own shakes with fruits, veggies, ice and almond milk. Frankly, I just hate the way all the…

Because THAT treadmill is wonky. Because THIS one is right underneath a fan, and it's AWESOME. Because THAT bench is right next to the window, and the blazing sun is going to cook me during my sets. Because I *always* use this particular one, and I enjoy my routine. Because I have specific, sports related reasons for…

Lol. Oddly enough, I have. I think we did it because my parents were visiting and it was familiar to them.

Why assume that I'm not calm? I'm here on my second cup of coffee, trying to shake my brain awake after being up all hours writing a long and complex business document. I'm not worked up - just parsing this out for you. Do people assume that this is generally accepted gym etiquette? Maybe. I'd go so far as to…

It's not unspoken gym etiquette. Get over it. There's a lot of wonky equipment, specifically treadmills. I don't care about your personal space when I'm putting all that strain on my knees and hips. I care about my pace, cadence, stride length and breathing. It's not an excuse. Trust me, no one WANTS to be extra close to…

I work closely with all of the firms you mention here. I do not trust Syngenta. I have a great opinion of Unilever, and know that at all levels they have strong commitments to social responsibility. I work with them in a business to business capacity and not as a customer, so my insights are captured with a different lens.…

Wait. You have dogs (plural) and use a vacuum *almost* monthly? What mystical creatures are these? And how have you trained them to so thoroughly wipe their paws before they come in?

I usually make a protein shake in the morning, but when I'm sick of that or in a rush, I grab a frozen burrito. Good Food Made Simple - that's the brand I use. They are convenient and come in a variety of flavors. Only $1.99 each at Target.

Almost none of these things are irrational. I guess I get irrationally angry by the sound of television, when no one is actively watching it. Specifically network tv or anything with commercials.

I've literally never met these people you speak of. Well I have, but on nude beaches where you'd expect that sort of thing (not my lifestyle, just a film shoot). People that dry their hair with no shirt on? Sure. People who apply lotion in the nude? Yep. People who pull their pants on while asking me how the traffic was on…
