Weird recipe question
It seems like I have a weird reaction to quick breads. It's odd and difficult to describe. Kind of like an irritation in my esophagus and this heavy / bloated feeling when I eat it. I feel like I might be reacting to certain amounts of chemical leaveners - though smaller quantities dont seem to bother me. Anyone know…

I really gotta find a man...
...that doesn't think it's ok to look through my cell phone, read all my emails, and comb through my text messages. Even if everything is on the up and up, I am handling things that are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I'd like to handle them on my own terms. Is that so wrong? Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez #KillMe

Triathlon Wear
Would it be completely ridiculous to wear a surfing spring suit for the swim portion of my tri? Practically speaking. And also, would I look like a complete tool?

Weighing your food
Has anyone else noticed that serving sizes, which are listed in weight AND volume, are often dramatically "off" ? This morning, I weighed out my Fage 2% yogurt, and it came in at 528g. When I looked at the container, that's roughly 2.3 servings of 227g each. They list a serving as 8 ounces. I can't imagine this is a…

I'll admit it -- I don't know what I'm doing
When it comes to strength training - I love it. I know the mechanics very well and I recognize it's important. What I DONT know is how to effectively eat and train in a way that gets me closer to my goals and prevents injury. I WANT to have better muscle definition and less fat I WANT to improve the appearance of my thighs…

Buzz Feed Clean Eating Challenge
Saw this blow up on my fb feed and had to check it out. I'm going to give it a go, even though I don't believe in things like DETOX or CLEAN EATING or GLUTEN FREE. I think it's a wonderful comprehensive guide. http://www.buzzfeed.com/christinebyrne/clean-eating-challenge What I like about it is that it is low carb, tons of…

Central New York
I'm driving from Boston to Utica, NY - pretty much down 90 the entire way - and want to know if there's anything awesome worth eating, seeing, or doing in that area. Sooooooooo if you live near 90, between Boston and Utica, and you know of an awesome something near you, let me know!

Grammar Snobs, HELP
I'm writing a professional document and really dont want to screw up the punctuation. The sentence is, "Our goal is to define the details of the pilot scope surrounding ASPIRIN product testing; the methods to run, the instruments to connect, the metrics to measure, and timeline." Is this punctuation correct? How about the…

Nike SportBand vs Fuel Band
Anyone care to compare for me? I'm looking for someone who has tried both. I loved the simplicity of my SportBand, but it broke today. Wondering if I could get anything more out of the Fuel Band.

Wendy's Berry Almond Salad
If you haven't tried it already, it's pretty tasty. But when you order it, ask for no cheese. They seriously put what looks like 3 slices of cheese on this otherwise healthy meal. Just a PSA.

Adjust running plan to avoid overtraining
Hi there. I run. I work out. I do all that craziness, but I have a habit of over doing it and getting injured. So it's running season in Boston, but it's also Soccer season. I'm playing full 90 min outdoor games every Sunday, but I also want to nail a good 5k time for this annual I do for my neighborhood in June. The…

curious d'Angelos data
http://www.dangelos.com/static//DAnutritionalsNewMenuR9.21.12web.pdf I had the number 9 with steak. It was a small, and it was loaded with steak and cheese. I can't imagine it only being 350 calories. The column on the far left indicates that these amounts are "per serving." Do you think they'd actually put the calories…
