Ok, I might be the only one with a finish weight higher than her start weight here! I am 22 weeks pregnant as of this week and I had lost about 8.5kgs prior to getting knocked up (And Boy am I glad of that!). I am trying to keep my weight gain within the recommended amount each week and it is quite frustrating as some days…

Anything with artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. Sadly, a lot falls into this category by my definition.

A tub of Bottega del Gelato, Pistachio ... it's divine!

I'd like to think I qualify! :) Tip 1: As another poster mentioned, you can substitute yoghurt (fat free/low/full depending on the creaminess you wish to achieve) in almost any recipe that calls for cream or coconut milk. Tip 2: I cook my rice with beans and veggies in them (so I can get in some protein and also as a small…

Try a chocolate flavoured protein bar instead (if that fits in your eating philosophy) ... there are numerous decent ones in the market that will better fit into your macros than a plain old chocolate bar. The other option is to just buy 80% chocolate (almost impossible to binge-eat a block of this) and eat just a few…

^^ This! You are being waay too hard on yourself! My DH has the most gorgeous stretch marks across his arms and shoulders from training intensely when he was a teenager (He is a Swimming champion) and I LOVE them so very much and wouldn't have it any other way. People who love you will do so for everything you are ...…

Well done you! So much win in your post! :drinker:

http://www.weightlossforall.com/protein-fish.htm Instead of low cals, high protein is a better marker IMO.

You look fantastic! Well done!

You don't try to build a well, You don't set out to build a wall, You don't say I am going to build the biggest baddest wall that has ever been built, You don't start there, You say I am going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid and you do that ever single day until you have a wall. -Will Smith

^^^ This. Doesn't teach you any skills for life. Weaning off from a program like that and keeping the lost weight off is much harder than learning to cook and calorie-control on your own. Also heaps tastier!

Well done, you! :drinker: Muscles are incredibly sexy ... that is all.

Word!! What an incredible transformation!

I vote for #2 too ... very classy. Second vote for #4!

Yes, This ^^^. I am 5'1, 128 lb female and I eat minimum of 1500 cals and I still cut. No wonder you are hungry ... try not to eat less than your BMR.

Love the message here! Thank you

I agree. I was brought up vegetarian as a child in India ... I assure you there are no fake meat products there! Meat eaters who have given meat up as a choice use these products you mention to help get through the transitional phase.

Speed doesn't really matter that much ... the burn and fitness benefits are related to the heart rate increase you achieve. Also like everyone else said, you will get faster as you keep at it! :) Good luck!

Cottage cheese, Greek yoghurt, Egg whites, mushrooms, milk .... all are great sources of protein. Also Beans (As in chickpeas, red/kidney etc) are great to add into salads for additional protein.
-
They are fantastic! The only "veggie" with protein in it ... love em! Some varieties even have more protein than carb in them, and then there are ones you can smoke ... need I say more!?

^^ This. I can do one or two (on a really good day) and I swear it makes me feel like a beast. I did make it my goal and worked with my PT for almost 3 months (started with assisted and then with resistance bands) have got to this stage. You need to train for it to get there and I doubt it is an overall indicator of how…

Fantastic post! More people need to think like you :drinker:

Sending you a FR ... I need to know what this "cake vodka" thing you are chomping on now. I know now what I have been missing in my life!

Thank you! :flowerforyou: I have wondered for so long about this!
