bump for later

No-one else here to ask for a compliment today, but a colleague did comment on my weight loss yesterday. I always find it hard to now what to say, and think the advice to use it to recognise the person giving the compliment is a good one. I've decided I'll just say something like 'Thank you, it's kind of you to say so'.

Burn = 647 Weight 72kg (as of Wednesday)
-
I can do it because I've been doing it, reasonably successfully, for 18 months already. Just a few more lbs and I'll be there. I can keep doing it (maintaining) because if I don't all my hard work will have been for nothing. I can do it because it feels good.

Nice idea, will definitely try this.

I'm Karen, also from the UK, also living in NL. I've been here for 20yrs, so I guess it's home now. I've been on MFP since March 11 and have been slowly but steadily (with the exception of a plateau at the beginning of the year) losing since then. So far down 37kg/82lbs, and just today went under BMI of 25 so am no longer…
-
WEighed in today at 72kg. My weigh-day is Wednesday, so you'll need to take this as my weight for coming Sunday (seems easiest).
-
You had good muscle definition before you started, it looks even better now.
-
Me. I went a bit off the tracks, but am aiming to do Level 2 every day for the next 8 days (started tonight). Then my parents are visiting and I won't be able to, but I plan to (hopefully) pick up L3 when they've gone.
-
I weigh in on Wednesdays, and was half a pound down. That's over two weeks - I was away for a week and didn't track, so I probably gained and lost a bit more this week. It's the same half a pound I've been losing and gaining for the last month, so we'll see how long it stays off.
-
I've only done one day of Level2 so far, and didn't like it much, but that might just be getting used to the moves. Did 6Week 6Pack tonight instead - dang, that was hard.
-
D1 of Level 2 yesterday, and I found it hard. I'll be trying the forearm planks mentioned earlier to see if that helps, but I think my core strength is going to be an issue. Did 6Week6Pack instead tonight - I did plan to do both, but just wanted to collapse after the first 30 minutes.
-
So glad it's not just me (the peeing thing). Remnds me I need to add pelvic muscles into my exercise routine too...
-
Yep, sounds good.
-
A group on here would be best for me, rather than on FB. But willing to go with the flow.
-
Day 6 done, and no pain! I'm going to stick to Level 1 for a few days yet - off on holiday in 8 days, so it doesn't seem worth starting level 2 before then (and my DVD hasn't arrived yet). Not getting this done as often as i'd like - finding time without the kids is tough.
-
I'll join - I'm doing level 1 at the moment, but going on holiday at beginning of May so will have to pick it up again when I come back. Are we going to start a group for this , or just keep it here?

Nope, not calves, but that could be from the jumprope exercise. i've only done day one, the day after my chest hurt (where arms and chest meet, from the push-ups I guess) and today it's the front of my thighs. I couldn't find time to do it yesterday, really hope to get back into it tonight. I'm doing Level 1 on YouTube,…
-
Hi, I'm Karen. Did day 1 yesterday, and it doesn't hurt as badly as i thought it would. I feel it a bit in my chest/shoulders (that'll be the press-ups), but the rest is fine. I've been on MFP just over a year now, and have lost 74lbs, I'd like to lose at least another 14. Hoping this will help, or at least get me down…

Hello, no longer in the UK, but still use UK products in my diary.
-
I've bought some seeds and am going to try to grow some this year.

Me too - ex-UK-er living in Gelderland. Have sent you a friend request. My diary is a mix of NL products and UK equivalents.
-
Just turned 45, and determined this is going to be the year I reach goal-weight. Happy for anyone to add me - is there a group?
-
I'm not new and not in the UK (though from there), but I've sent you a friend request anyway.

I'm Karen, originally from Aberdeen (and have lived in a few other places) but currently in NL. Same-ish time-zone though. I've been on MFP (properly) since March and have lost 3 1/2 stone, need to shift about another 2 1/2. k.
