I feel awful when I eat something bad. I used to be very strict and had one cheat MEAL a week. Anytime I would eat something out of the normal i would hate myself for it. Now, I have gotten away from that feeling and I've sort of got off track. I'm trying to get back to that feeling because for me that "guilt" was good…

I cook all my lunches on my day off. I am always on a mostly protein lunch. Chicken/beef and plenty of veggies. Always yogurt and usually some sort of fruit to go along with it. I also usually pack another piece or fruit or a protein shake for morning snack and protein bar for a snack before I leave and head to the gym.

Thought I was on a plateau. Tried IIFYM and it added almost 1000 calories to what I was eating. Then the weight steadily came off about 2 lbs a week. Definitely worked for me

I eat around 240-260 grams a day. However 50g come from protein supplements. I eat carbs for breakfast and a few carbs throughout the day. Mostly just meat at every meal along with greens.

I'm done with college but feel free to add me. I know what you're going through!

Light beer with low carbs if drinking heavily. Any great tasting hoppy beer if want something to sip on. Bourbon all the time, straight up.

Calories, Carbs, Protein, Fat, Fiber, Sodium, Cholesterol. In that order.

I rarely eat either. Haven't bought either in 4-5 years probably. Any recipe that needs it I just don't put it in. If I'm at a restaurant Iight put a little on a sweet potatoe or a roll. But other than that I don't eat it.

I live far away from any family and don't get any time off work for Christmas so I never have that problem. But my recommendation would be lots of vegetables and be conscious of other foods and especially dessert. Personally I 99% of the time pass on any sugary sweet dessert.

Just a tiny bit of salt. Remember ranch has a ridiculous amount of calories. So be sure you're counting all the calories.

Canada is Awesome!!! Not from there just a fan! Lol congrats! I'll add you!
-
Just keep doing it and staying on a good calorie deficit and that's perfect.

No, not possible it's from that. Unless the bread is also not in your normal diet then it could be water weight from more carbs than normal.
-
You really should do a cheat MEAL not a chest DAY! I usually still fit my cheat mean in my macros and calories.
-
I just remove the yolks. Not always but I eat more whites than entire eggs.
-
Mixed with water and on as much food as possible.

I just switched my macros to the same percentages. I'm working out 6 days a week. Generally circuit training and/or jogging. I'm at a plateau so that's why I switched up the macros. I haven't seen results yet but hopefully the scale will drop soon. I'd day you're on a good plan.

I agree you only need it if you can't get your protein intake through food. I've tried lots of different ones. I stick to Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Double rich chocolate. Only one I don't get sick of the taste.

I just readjusted my macros and am shooting for 50% protein 25% carbs and fat. I basically have cut out bread and eat ALOT of meat. Then to get carbs I usually eat fruit occasionally pasta for some sort of bread. It's difficult but once you figure out what is low or no carbs it's not too bad. I keep a list of high, medium…

Rule of thumb is .7-1 gram per pound of body weight. I can only get there and stay under my calories with protein shakes.
-
I pretty much only drink water. 1 gallon a day is my goal. If you're having trouble I recommend getting a Nalgene since it's measured out and you can keep track easily.

I was increasing my bench weight in huge increments my doing a warm up then sets of 8, 6, and 4. All weight was set that I struggled to do the last rep on each set. Increasing weight 40lbs or so each set.
-
I don't like it because of no free weights. But if you're looking for weight machines and lots of equipment for cardio you can't beat the price considering around here gyms are about $40 a month.
-
I just push through knowing I'm getting better and eventually it will not hurt once muscles are used to that particular exercise. I also have learned to love that feeling. I used to live for that "pump" and "burn" back when I was lifting hard.

Yes it's AWEOME!! Definitely a motivator.

I saw this quote on this site from somebody. Not sure who. But I saved it and look at it when I'm feeling that way. "The way I see it, it took a LOT of bacon cheeseburgers and 700 calorie ice cream sundaes to get me here- I can't put a week into reversing that and expect a miracle. I WANT this."

Optimum Nutrition double rich chocolate. Only way to go IMHO.

Cucumber and mint(like the plant) are different options. But like and lemon are good solutions too.

I only buy the leanest ground turkey available. Can't remember the last time I bought ground beef.
