Try sweet potato, They don't taste the exact same but they are still pretty good.

I didn't find the number on the scale any difference then with out it. I did notice a big difference the week I tried low carb. Everyone has their own opinion as to what you should do. Some believe low carb is the key while other people believe it doesn't matter how many carbs you consume as long as they are low GI carbs.…

I tried low GI but that didn't seem to make a difference. UGH THIS SUCKS. I feel like I do twice the work to lose half as much.

I feel the same way. I think sometimes this program is too standard to work for everyone. I think you need to figure out what foods work for you and what does not. I have PCOS and I have been trying to do low carbs. I think the carb number on here is still too high for me though it might be great for you. So maybe you need…

Well apparently some have calories in them which I never new. I know a lot of people do not however I noticed in some diaries they do. I guess it is your personal preference.
-
That sounds sweet but why do you put your weight on your ID?
-
Do you mean 20grams or your carbs on here is set to 20%? Thanks for the replay

Well if your down 11 in 3weeks then what you are doing now is great. I tried WW years ago and I did not care for it. I found the extra points and carrying over points allowed me to figure out ways to still eat the bad stuff. I know you should not use your points this way but when your not use to eating right thats what…

Yes it is. Weight is going to look different on the both of yous. The taller person is going to look thinner at the same weight because of the way they can carry it. This is normally because of body mass.

Is there still going to be a special on? I seen a clip of an interview that some of those quotes came out of it but I thought it was longer then what I seen. Anyone know what I am talking about.
-
How do yous manage to curb your carb craving? I find once I start eating them I can't stop eating bread, pasta, sweet and much more.
-
I noticed that a few times as well and I honestly no idea which one is your better option. More cals or more salt/sugar. I guess it just depends on your over all eating.
-
I have been noticing the same thing. I think it is because of the average person it is not something that can be maintained for the rest of their life. Once you stop the program you normally gain it all back. What I don't think some people realize that not everyone loses and keeps weight off the same way. I have PCOS so…

Click on the "Food" tab then under there you will see a "Recipe" tab. You put all the individual items into the list and then put in how many servings the recipe is for. It will break down the calorie, carbs etc for the whole recipe and then the serving. You can name the recipe and save it for future use.

Good luck and feel free to msg any time you want to chat :)

I know Bob went off in a speech about how the red team shouldn't play the game because this his life but I disagree. Normally I agree that they should let the people who need the help the most stay but this week I agree with the red teams choice. Arthur had established earlier on in the game that he wanted to play the game…

Weird I have yet to see an add on here

What program are you on luv2ash ?

I have PCOS so I started South Beach last Thursday. I weighed in today and I was down 6lbs. I have decided to keep going with it this week to see if it is what is making a difference for me. I can't wait to hear how everyone else did to know what to expect weight loss wise.

Try Zucchini pasta. Use a vegetable peeler to make strips that look like pasta. Fry them in a pan until they are soft to your liking. They don't taste the same as pasta noodles but still pretty good with less carbs for a change.

Have you ever been tested for PCOS if you were always the type not to have a period? I didn't get a period until I started taking the pill. Part of not being able to lose weight is because of my PCOS. I just know how much it sucks for me but maybe its not the reason you are having your problem. Other symptoms of PCOS are:…

I am a big skim milk drinker. I have never had the almond. I use to drink 2% but now I find it taste way too fatty. There is 90calories in skim compared to 110 in 2% for the brand I drink

I would love to know this as well
-
Sorry to hear but you are still doing great :)

I have been trying to stick closely to South Beach. It is my first week trying it. I have PCOS and high carb amounts are apparently bad for you if you have it. I am unsure how its going to work since I did not do a weigh in yet. So far I have found no breads and pastas hard.

I forgot to mention you must write me later about your experience. I want to know what it was like, how many people where there, what kind of questions they asked you and so on. I want a nice juice letter waiting for me with in the next few days after your life settles back down for the moment.
-
Waite.... what....huh? You didn't tell me that you were doing this. I have my fingers cross for you. Good Luck
-
I have the same problem. Everyone has been suggesting to do yoga in order to relax but I find it only make things worse. It gives me "free" time in my mind which causes me to think about things. At least when I am busy I am not thinking about things.
-
Waite am I reading the original question wrong? I thought he said "AND" in his statement not "OR" like you pointed out in your quote. "AND" implies to do both and "OR" implies to just pick the one you would sooner do. The way I take his original post is that we should not eat back work out calories.

I played around with it a little but I just don't get how you select the actual game you want to play instead of the one they choose for you.
