Yoga fixed mine! No boot, but I always use super feet insoles in my sneakers. Also got rid of most of my flats & bought higher quality shoes for work. Flip flops kill me, so I switched to Birkenstocks for around the house & outside, too:-)

I have high maintenance hair... long, fine but dense, naturally curly (2b-2c). I also have it colored (bc grey hair isn't cool at my age!). I used to use cheap stuff, but my hair was sooo dry/never moisturized enough. I also used to color it myself... until I got swollen lymph nodes on my scalp- scary!!) Now I pay a…

Knitter here! And gym (classes a few times a week keep me on schedule & I'm less likely to back out!) after work & shower at the gym so by the time I get home it's almost time for bed @ 9:00... I tend not go to sleep til 10:00, but watch some Netflix. I have been trying to add more social time w friends each week & get…

Your legs are gorgeous & perfect!

If I remember correctly, the wraps are practically the same calories as the bread there. You might eek out 1-2 more grams of fiber in whole wheat bread, but that's not much in my book.

Employed/similar income  But physically- it's the eyes!

Your son's diet/lack of proper nutrition doesn't seem healthy for him, though. I'm sure a kid that age is eating more processed carby stuff than you are, but at the end of the day, he's not healthy, & his metabolism is irrelevant (you said he's lean & muscular). If he doesn't get used to eating some vegetables/a balanced…

Good quality compression capris w higher waist! I can't breathe wearing spanx, lol, but I found some UA & other brands @ TJ Max a few weeks ago that are perfect! "Try them on before you buy" is something I have to keep reminding myself to do :-)

Are you showering immediately after working out? I used to run errands afterward, had about a 30 minute drive, then would start cooking dinner, etc. but when I starting showering at the gym as ASAP the issue never recurred (one itchy underarm, lol!). The wicking gear is better, IMO, but it still stays wet sometimes... kind…

Yup... I also put cereal in a mug bc my small bowls make me too sad :-(

Welcome to MFP! I think your belly button would look higher if you continued to lose weight, but I have to say there is nothing wrong with your belly button or your stomach. I don't think it has anything to do with your waist size, though I could be wrong. I have a similar kind and it is slowly getting better, but I would…

Too many calories. I eat 2-4 servings of fruit (berries, banana, 2 small kiwi or an orange) and that usually is about 250-300 calories already :-( I could eat or drink fruit all day, but well, I need other macros, too!!

I'm one of the opposite... having to find my favorite little bowl/is it even clean??, scale, scoop, enter into MFP, put ice cream back in freezer... seems like a lot of work, lol, and I easily eat my paltry portion. But the individually wrapped ones always beg me to go open another. I can stop at one, but I know* there's…

Yoga for about a month (only 1-2x a week; class at my gym) and I could easily stand w legs together, or wide-stance, and touch my palms to the ground. I'm SUPER excited about that! Splits- I haven't tried one, so I have no idea.

You may find something that works better... but if you're not committed to weighing your food and logging, then you're not trying as hard as you could be, right?? :-) PS I will likely need to do this the rest of my life bc I cannot be trust myself to lose (or maintain in the future) otherwise-, but I know there are lots of…

FOR them. And I do NOT feel sorry for anyone old enough/able to get vaccinated IF they get the flu (if it could've been prevented, of course by being vaccinated). But in reality, anyone could die from influenza, but at least I know I have a clear conscience and hopefully would not be responsible for passing the contagion…

Hated it. I might have been an outlier, but this was my experience: Made me extremely paranoid (I thought everyone at Barnes & Noble was watching me,taking notes, talking to the Police about the books I was touching/looking at, and something I remember about aliens... I can lol NOW, but at the time I was thinking of going…

I don't think the drs are trying to keep people overweight. Everyone is hung up on "diets don't work" and article after article about how many people cannot maintain their loss for the rest of their life... I think they are trying to say (inarticulately) that you don't need to resort to VLCD/crazy fads, and it's better to…

BTDT tips: (5'4" was 227lbs, now 180... still losing) Make popcorn at home instead of chips Weigh your portions for everything you eat & drink & log it) Stop baking- only do for holidays & when I get begged to bring something to a party or bake sale. I only allow myself a couple, and everyone else MUST take the rest home w…

When cooking for 1-2 people, it's great bc package sizes aren't huge, and so the prices are a little lower than the bigger stores. They have a good selection of things you can't frequently get at a regular store, and have great customer service. (If you need gluten free foods, they have those, too.) Their brand of things…

Agree- classes or small training groups I've been in have been more social. I am social... but most others just want to get in and get out. I've been going to the same yoga class 1-2x/week for 6 weeks or so, people are friendly, but only 1 person even asked me what my name was (other then the instructor) Takes…

Even Ibuprofen can cause temporary water weight gain- it typically goes away after a few days of cessation :-/

FB works fine for me (HR charge 2)... I however do NOT eat back any day-to-day walking/normal activity calories (cleaning the house, laundry, walking around stores, stroll in the park) or from yoga or strength training. My experience: Just bc I might get 10,000 or 15,000 steps, doesn't mean I can eat those back. (I was…

I agree: Raisins are disappointing! Craisins FTW!

Count them all... (but I understand the logic WW uses, & was a member a long long time ago.)

Good reminder... and you look amazing :-)

Love Lodge, but "pre-seasoned" still needed to be seasoned. My eggs still stick sometimes :-/ but I love it anyway.
-
I just leave it out of the fridge for 5-10 min before eating :-)

I cashed out on the 11th, but it also said my Pact was paused at that time (I didn't pause it).
