  • From past experiences I have had, I have noticed that sometimes, if I reach a plateau, bumping my calorie intake a bit jump starts it again. It basically tricks my metabolism. I found a link with some information on this. I myself haven't tried the calorie guide they use, but it kind of supports the theory of tricking the…
  • I feel your pain. I lost 30 pounds a couple years ago through Weight Watchers. I thought I could save money by doing it myself. And of course, I gained it all back, and then some. I just started up again. I have sleep apnea and really need to get rid of it! I want to feel human again and not feel so self conscious about…
  • I have a little over 1500 per day. I find that I go over a bit on some days, but I still have lost. I have to remind myself; Slow and steady, one day at a time". Good luck! :)
  • So then they wouldn't really be free then? Or is that just on certain fruits and vegetables? I bought the package with the new program, but the book really doesn't give much information on that part.
  • I know it needs to be a life style change and you need to be conscientiousness about what you are eating. I was that way on WW. I guess with me, I just don't feel like I get much support. I know I need to do this for myself, but it seems like the support I need isn't always there. Does anyone follow WW and limit their…
  • She is collecting disability for "severe depression" as she puts it. I honestly don't think that's it. I think she is either bi-polar or has borderline personality disorder. She basically rules the roost at my parents house. My mom got to the point of not going against her word so she will can avoid her lip. She goes along…
  • I had to exercise myself to not respond to yet another similar situation tonight from my sister. Ugh!! She asked me if I could take my dad to a doctor's appointment. I texted back. "What time is the appointment? I have one that day at 3." The response? "Never mind." I know how her mind works too. Her response was another…
  • Well, I called this morning. As it turns out, they explained that they found endometrial cells on my pap smear. While they are normal, it is not normal to see them on a pap smear unless you are on your cycle. I actually started a week after my visit. I have to go in next Wednesday for a biopsy to make sure everything is OK.

  • I hate this!!! I gain about 8 pounds right prior to my period. This last time it took me by surprise thought because I had gained the weight but wasn't due for aweek or so. I was frustrated wondering what I did. Turns out it came early. The thing with me is when I get it, I can't lose the weight until after my period is…
  • I hate Water weight as well! Usually it's an issue at that TOM. I will be doing well, then all of a sudden I automatically gain. I was really freaked out this week because I wasn't due yet and gained 8 pounds! I knew I had cheated a bit but not to that extent. As it turns out due to stress or whatever reason my cycle…
  • If you are starting at 1200 calories and you burn 500 calories on the days you exercisse, that means you can take in 1700 calories a day. Are you taking thise days into consideration?
  • Now I've lost a tire! How am I to get to work?! Now I need to lose a bale of hay and a brain. However my brain doesn't work too well at times so maybe I can exchange it for a new one?
  • AlyssaC2010 ~ Unfortunately I haven't been working out recently. My father has been in and out of the hospital for quite some time and it's hard to get the exercise in. But the times I have, I do eat about half the calories lost back. How I have managed to stay on track with the stress, I have no idea! asallen7 ~ That's…

  • Since I got older I don't wear heels anymore. I had some problems with my feet so I gave up on them. I read somewhere and I don't know if it's true that calf size is inherited. Does that sound right?
  • Great job!!!! Keep on keeping on!!!
  • See, I prefer to eat my calories in the evening as well. I find during the day it is easier for me not to eat as I am busy with work. I have read different things saying that you shouldn't do it this way and others that say it doesn't matter.
  • I love to add some sweet and sour beets to my salad along with chick peas. I also make sure I don't go overboard with dressing by pouring a bit of dressing in a small cup and then I place my fork in the dressing first then in the salad.
  • Thanks for the kind words. I think it also doesn't help that my stomach is acting up. It started Sunday morning at 4:30, went away, and now it's back. Maybe it's the food I ate and not being used to that much of it? All I know id this monring the scale said I gained 5 pounds overnight. I know that's not relaistic, but it…
  • I love this thread! So far I've lost 10 Dozen large eggs. I hope to lose an additional elephant's penis to lose an Irish Setter.
  • I had this one also.
  • This is sad. Even when I make my own salad it adds up. I usually go to the supermarket and make my own. I use lettuce, some peas, onions, beets, chick peas, mild banana pepper rings, a little feta cheese and one egg. It's still better than the salad at the restaurant, but it's still depressing. Heck, I may as well eat…
  • I couldn't help myself. :oP~~~~
